HOLY FUCK. GUYS, I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING! WE'RE GETTING A GUNDAM EXTREME VS GAME LOCALIZED IN THE WEST!
http://gematsu.com/2015/12/mobile-su...ming-west-2016 Seriously though, this is super exciting. For those who don't know, the Extreme VS series is a long running series of really good Gundam 2v2 fighting games with really in depth mechanics. The PS3 games haven't gotten localized, but this Vita exclusive single player focused spin-off is.There's been speculation on a PS4 port of the last arcade game coming out soon , so if we can get this to sell, we can get a theoretical Maxi Boost PS4 localized too! PLEASE BUY THIS GAME! I am putting my money where my mouth is and have money for a preorder already saved up. I know this isn't the mainline VS games and it's only for Vita, which is very niche, but please do it so we can get more Gundam games besides Dynasty Warriors Gundam. If you have a Vita, get it. If you have a Playstation TV, I think it's compatible. If you don't have a Vita, maybe get it for someone next year who has a Vita but has no idea about this game. Of course Bandai would choose to localize a Gundam game on a dead system... It's not like they didn't just announce one for the PS4. |

I wouldn't count on it getting anything more than a digital only release that gets swept under the radar...

Anime games still get physical releases here in the US like Sword Art Online Lost Song, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, J-Stars Victory Vs+ and Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax. Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS Force could get a physical release over in the west.

And I think the last DWG game being digital only in the West says it all about Vs Force's likelihood of a physical release. |

About the dead system thing... yeah it is. But at the same time though, I've heard that for a lot of these super niche anime games, the PS4 and Vita sales numbers are near the same. It's not like the PS4 version is gonna sell 10 times as much as a Vita version. Again, just what I've heard. Plus, I think if we could get Greg Miller and Colin Moriarty, two former IGN guys who have a Vita loving audience, to talk about the game a fair bit and give it a bump, the game is not completely doomed. |

I would love it if they make a Gundam fighting game similar to the PS1 games again. I had fun renting those from Blockbuster as a kid.
