Unfortunately, and I could be wrong, but there is a possibility that those will be region-locked due to their use in Beetleborgs!
The more something is connected to the West thanks to a previous adaptation, the less likely it will be made available through this. Older Sentai are the most likely candidates! I'll also add that exactly what Hasbro or SHOUT! would do with B-Fighter or even Beetleborgs, if anything, is unclear. |

I just did the first two episodes of Gavan and the first episode of Sharivan without issue!
A few odd translation choices: Gavan's "Jouchaku" is done as "Metamorphosis" and Sharivan's ship is "Grand Verse". Tried B-Fighter and B-Fighter Kabuto, but to no avail. It said something was wrong, but I am using a Roku app so it could just be a kitschy way of saying "region-locked"! |

On my X-box YT app they have Metalder, B-Fighter, Kabuto, Goranger, JAKQ, BattleFever-J, Dengiman, Sunvulcan, Dynaman, and Goggle V but they are region locked so they won't play. On web browser they don't even show up. I tried searching around with my vpn on my pc, but none appear anywhere i switched to. |

I just got done watching the two episodes of Maho Shoujo Chuka na Ipanema up on youtube and I really enjoyed it. I've actually already seen the show before, I noticed that Toei uploaded a few episodes of the show to their youtube channel once upon a time and decided to check it out on a whim, but it was nice to be able to watch it with english subs this time.

Got chance to watch some selected episodes (well, the one with subtitles already in place). It looks like several selected shows on Toei's global toku YT channel may appeal to young children. If you have any 7-8 year old kids and with a very good or above average reading level (or if they love reading book by themselves), then I think they may find the show appealing despite it's old school look (I have an 8 year old niece who watched Zyuranger after I introduced it to her). I might update this thread to include several children toku shows from Toei's YT channel.

Found an article which includes a list from August Ragone, which details the shows that the channel will region-block due to who holds the licenses at this time.
http://ukiyaseed.weebly.com/ukiyasee...ed-some-issues Evidently, and of particular note, Hasbro does retain the license to Metal Heroes which were previously used in V. R. Troopers and Big Bad Beetleborgs, indicating that THOSE RIGHTS were apart of the purchase of Power Rangers (and the adaptation rights to Super Sentai in general) from Saban! Others, like Juspion and Message from Space, are also under license and therefore not available. By definition, any Sentai released to the channel will not be available. If Spielvan and Shaider are released to the channel, they too will likely be blocked. This list did NOT make note of Kamen Rider Black RX, which was released as "Masked Rider" by Saban years ago, but which has not been given an official re-release, probably due to lack of interest and the fact that most think that the adaptation was garbage! However, it is entirely possible that the mere fact that RX was adapted could leave it region-locked if it were ever uploaded to the channel! A similar situation could also arise with Ryuki (Dragon Knight). However, since SHOUT! apparently has the rights to the OG Kamen Rider, it's possible that this is a moot point altogether and that most Rider entries will either not be released to the channel or will receive a Western release through different means. Pure speculation on my end, of course. |

Sorry but it does genuinely make me really angry when US copyright law affects places like Europe.

Well if it's region-locked, you'll just continue to watch toku the usual way (with the Internet's magic). Let's give Toei thumbs up when it's deserved. I wonder how and if the community will submit subs for everything, because I don't care if it take years I'll watch everything.
