Eat your heart out Legacy Collection!
For fans of Metal Heroes and the original in particular this is huge, literally. Tamashii Nations has jut announced a 1:1 scale replica of Space Sheriff Gavan's signature Laser Blade! Tamashii Lab Laser Blade Retail Price 16,200 January 2017 Most likely a Premium Bandai release but we aren't sure yet. Features an IR sensor that activates when sliding your hand down the blade. Activates light and sound effects replicating what Gavan does to use his Gavan Dynamic attack. It also plays the series BGM while doing this.

Same! I absolutely positively must and will own this. It's a dream come true to see a perfect 1:1 scale Metal Hero weapon.

Yeah this is neat I guess, but I don’t care about Gavan. Or about paying 150 bucks + shipping and handling for a role-playing weapon.

Considering the features, the price seems quite reasonable. I never knew I wanted one of these so badly!
I don't suppose those hand displays are included? |

Would be cool if we could get some Rider/Sentai gizmos eventually. |

I've never watched any of the shows in the Metal Heroes series but the idea of a role play toy with an IR sensor so you don't look like an idiot when you mimic something from the show and nothing happens is awesome. Really hope they make some Kamen Rider and Super Sentai weapons that are 1:1 scale with similar features down the line.
