My biggest issue with them copying Shinkenger plots is that they have Bulk in the series and then DIDN'T use the Shinken Brown storyline (or at least haven't yet). They missed a trick there.

Oh man, Bulk would be perfect for the ShinkenBrown episode.
Honestly? I don't think Samurai needs saving. The show seems to be doing just fine as it is, I just feel it needs a cast not made up of cardboard cutouts and a plot that's not just a copy and paste of the Shinkenger script. I watched Origins and the Clash of the Red Rangers stuff on Netflix, and honestly for the most part it wasn't unwatchable as it currently stands. And to be frank, I don't think Skull would be necessary in this series, nor do I think he could help improve the admittedly useless factor and unfunny factor of Bulk and Spike. |

Honestly as much as I will always love th franchise, I felt there hasn't been a season watchable as an adult since SPD.

But you can't really argue with how popular it is with kids though. Its great to see something I enjoyed as a child really popular all over again and at the end of the day it means the franchise will (hopefully) only get stronger.

I think the question posed it more as 'save' for the adult fans, where reception has been more mixed.

Plus the fact that for the most part, they seem to have improved on the Americanization of the ZORDS.
