I've honestly enjoyed most of Samurai. I think we kind of have to get ourselves back to that MMPR season 1 sort of mind set to really enjoy it for what it is, a sort of reimagining of MMPR season 1 using Shinkenger footage.

I'll say "meh". While it brings back a lot of memories from my PR obsession when I was a kid, it's real cheesy. But in a good way.

Also, Antonio maybe the worst thing I've ever seen in PR. At least as far as Ranger actors go. Even the child actor that can't hide his accent is a better actor. |

Samurai Yay, aside from the acting. But what you going to do about that. I like the stories they came up with, I adore the fact they brought back Bulk. Just hoping that they keep the Kaoru Shiba aspect of the plot. (Also forgive me if I butchered some spelling there)

Here's a question: In Shinkenger, the kuroko are there to set up the battlefield, get civilians into safety, buy groceries for the Shinkengers, etc. etc. But since they don't exist in Power Rangers Samurai, who helps Mentor Ji clean up after the Rangers?

Well that has seldom been answered in any Power Rangers or any other Super Sentai, in fact. I guess they just find a way.

I haven't seen every episode, just about half a dozen or so on OnDemand, and I like it. I like the badguys more than the heroes, though, so go figure on that.

And as anyone else noticed that at any given moment Kevin looks about three seconds from breaking down, and just crying his eyes out?

Not having seen Shinkenger, and, as such, not being able to compare the two... it sucks. I voted "meh" because I enjoy watching it, but the truth is the only legitimately good thing in the show is the action... most of which is borrowed from Shinkenger.
