Those are leaks, official scans would be from Toei or someone along the lines of that.
(nitpicking, I know) Anywho, I'm curious to see who our creative staff will be. Utsunomiya is probably out since he's doing Zyuohger, so I'm thinking the producer will be Kazuhiro Takahashi, who was chief producer on the first 38 episodes of Ghost. (Takebe is still there but both her Sentai have done badly) Maybe Kobayashi to write, not sure I'd be willing to risk getting Kento Shimoyama yet. A lot of the Ninninger dialogue was from him and he had a really poor approach to writing. (treating Ninninger as a "pick your own adventure" book essentially) Also love to get someone new, maybe from the anime world, but Toei tends to reserve those writers for something higher profile like Kamen Rider. (Fourze, Gaim, and Ex-Aid being the recent example) Last edited by Aoi Kurenai; 12-04-2016 at 10:42 AM.. |

he did Kyoryuger & Drive, and they were both terrible. |

Sanjo is supposedly taking a break from TV writing to get back to his manga, Beet the Vandal Buster.
I personally enjoyed Kyoryuger a lot, it's actually one of my favorite Sentai, but I could not stand Drive. (and I also loved W, so two out of three isn't bad for me) Both shows have the same producer and I think the problem could potentially be with him. He's the producer on Ex-Aid but Toei did something odd and gave the "chief producer" credit to a TV Asahi producer as opposed to one of their own guys, which began after they formally credited the TV Asahi producer as the chief producer of Ghost like three-quarters into that show's run. (it's never happened before so this is really uncharted territory) |

If Kobayashi is the writer my enthusiasm for Kyuranger will go WAY up. and I know we just established this almost certainly won't happen right now but I'd totally love to see Riku Sanjo do another Sentai.

Ninninger's main writer, Kento Shimoyama, didn't actually have a series long story planned out. According to one of the entries on Toei's website for the show, he branched the story off into the direction it went based on production constraints. He had points A and Z in his head but literally didn't plot anything in between out in advance. (so basically he knew a family team would eventually beat a bad guy with one or all of them becoming The Last Ninja and that's about it)
