So, let's say Hasbro approaches you personally, for whatever reason, and asks you to plan their next wave of Lightning Collection figures. You're allowed to pick any character from Power Rangers history, but they want you to stick to the format of:
1) 4 figures - retailers get salty otherwise. They will let you do one twin-pack exclusive, though, so 6 in total. 2) Two max from the same season, for reasons only known to Hasbro. 3) Only one villain per wave, plus one in the twin-pack. Villain molds are expensive, ya know? You can include whatever accessories you want, but unnmorphed heads are the default unless you're Magna Defender, for whatever reason.

It's the best season and you need a Red in every wave. Plus Jessica Jones can have her Malcolm. 3) Ninja Storm Green Samurai. You need a 6th ranger in the wave, Cam's my second favorite ranger, and the 2 forms could be an interesting gimmick with swappable parts 4) MMPR Movie Pink. You need the MMPR representation, I love the original movie suits, and it's a second chance at a better AJJ likeness. Two-Pack) Lost Galaxy Pink Marine and Darkonda. Darkonda was one of my favorite villains and while Karone might not have been a ranger when he was around, it makes as much sense as Psycho Red and Leo |

1.) Blue Samurai Ranger
Accessories: -Samuraizer -Spin Sword -Hydro Bow -Small Dragon FoldingZord in symbol mode (I don't think Hasbro's gonna splurge for a dragon mode) -Blue energy effect to cover Spin Sword -Unmorphed head 2.) Yellow Dino Ranger Accessories: -Thundermax Blaster (judging MMPR Pink's accessories, Hasbro is satisfied leaving Rangers with one gun and one melee weapon, so no sword mode) -Ptera Grips -Ptera Grip slashing effect -Unmorphed head 3.) White Dino Ranger Accessories: -Drago Sword -Energy effect for Drago Sword -Unmorphed head 4.) Villain: Koragg the Night Wolf Accessories: -purple Wolf Morpher -Knight Saber -Wolf Shield (has an extendable gimmick to reveal a painted Eye of the Master) -purple slash effect -two unmorphed heads: one for Leanbow and one for Nick Two-pack: White Mystic Ranger and Wolf Warrior (Wolf Warrior is a repaint of Koragg, so, you're welcome Hasbro) Accessories: White Mystic Ranger: -Snow Wand -Snow Staff -Unmorphed head -Energy effect with sculpted snowflakes; compatible with both Snow Wand and Snow Staff Red Wolf Warrior: Accessories: -red Wolf Morpher -red Knight Saber -red Wolf Shield (has an extendable gimmick to reveal a painted Eye of the Master) -Red fire effect -Unmorphed head For both: Printed magic circle Last edited by gashatfreak; 09-06-2019 at 11:42 PM.. |

May as well engage iin some nepotism and take part in my own thread.
1) In Space Red Accessories: Spiral Sabre Astro Blaster Drill effect part Unmorphed Andros head One of the best boys, plus I love that Spiral Sabre, and it gives the Psycho Rangers another adversary. 2) Crimson Thunder Ranger Accessories: Thunder Staff Crimson Blaster Blasting parts Unmorpher Hunter head Thunder Rangers have top designs, and figuarts are expensive. 3) SPD Green Accessories: Delta Morpher Delta Max Striker Blast effect Unmorphed Bridge head A more niche choice, but it's Bridge, and Bridge is cool. I was considering Omega Ranger, but as a Sixth, I figure he'd get released anyway. Bridge, on the other hand, is a green in a sea of greens. 4) Dino Charge Violet Accessories: Dino Charge Morpher Dino Blade Sword slash effect Unmorphed Kendall head I'm was split between this and JF Wolf, for that purple goodness, and my business brain kicked in and reminded me you can re-use parts from DC Red, plus female rep is good rep. Even if she'd be the one per case. Two-Pack: Battle of the Moon [B]Wild Force Silver[/B Accessories: Lunar Caller Lunar Cue Pool effect Unmorpher Merrick head Zen-Aku Crescent Blade Flute Knife Wolf mask I'm a filthy Gen-Zillenial, I'm allowed to have a nostalgia boxset with some good designs.

1) Turbo Red
Accessories- Unmorphed TJ head Lightning Sword Auto Blaster Sword effect piece Turbo is probably nostalgic enough for impulse buyers, plus, TJ needs some love! I was tempted to say In Space blue for the same reason but, c’mon, the first black leader of the power Rangers deserves to wear Red more often. 2) Jungle Fury Wolf Ranger Accessories- Unmorphed RJ head Ki blast effect Jungle Fury is a series I really enjoyed, and getting our first purple ranger would be really dang cool. 3) Mystic Force Pink Accessories- Unmorphed V head Staff Morpher Spell effects? V’s probably my favorite pink ever, honestly. Girl’s got a great aesthetic, and I am very gay. 4) A-squad Red Ranger Accessories- Unmorphed Charlie head Blaster Blaster effect part? Despite not doing much at all in the show itself I always loved the concept of the A-squad. A team of rangers going bad? Heck yeah, the fact that it gives us some more female rep is just a bonus. Two pack) Time Force Pink vs Ransik Pink- Unmorphed Jen head Time force badge Chrono saber Vector blaster Ransik- Bone sword Maskless head “Purified” head Jen and Ransik are two of my favorite PR characters period, and packaging them together is an obvious choice. |

Wild Force Megazord, Kongazord, Isis Megazord, and Predazord and an Animus/WFM+Elephant weapons 2 pack.
WFM, Konga, Pred and Isis have been designed to have inter changeable arms, and all but the Predazord (for obvious reasons) have interchangeable hips. This allows you to effectively have all possible Mecha combinations. Also the 2pack is a Pulse exclusive because Animus and the Elephant seem eclectic enough for it. |

Alright, so, yeah. Some of these aren’t all the most likely characters to receive releases anytime soon. But this is my fantasy, so... let me have it.
1. Geki Violet/Jungle Fury Wolf Ranger - Doesn’t get cooler than a purple Muay Thai Werewolf 2. Gokai Yellow/Super Megaforce Yellow Ranger - Gokai Yellow is the coolest lady Ranger, period. Plus, I think Gia is pretty popular with fans? Seems like one of the likelier female figure releases TBH. 3. Abare Black/Dino Force Black Ranger - I’ve actually never watched more than a handful of eps from either Abaranger or Dino Force, but... it’s an all-time badass costume, and I guess you gotta have a Tommy 4. Shironinger/Ninja Steel White Ranger - Yeah, this is a “in your dreams” wildcard, but the Shironinger costume is possibly the most well designed, balanced, and badass lady Ranger suit ever. I need a good quality plastic representation of this, stat! Two Pack: Ninja White/White Alien Ranger & Ninjaman/Ninjor - Seems unlikely Ninja White would ever get her own release, so maybe pairing her with Ninjor would get her out in the world. Red - Scott (similar to AgentOrange's selection) - Unmorphed Head of Actor - Street Saber - Nitro Blaster - Wheel Blaster OR Rail Blaster/Nitro Blaster Combo (couldn't decide which one; either would work) w/effects piece! 4): Mighty Morphin Scorpina (human version) - Screen accurate head of Ami Kawai (one who portrayed Lami in Zyuranger) - Boomerang w/effects piece - Mirror of Destruction (closed unless it can be made to open; from "The Rockstar") - Handheld Weaveworm (Pet Worm from "A Star is Born") 5): Two-Pack - "Rise of the Phantom" Turbo's Phantom Ranger and General Havoc - Phantom Laser (used when leading Rangers to Rescuezords) - Turbo Navigator in blaster mode (Legacy Wars and the old Turbo toyline depicted Phantom with one) w/effects piece - Havoc's riding crop - Handheld Power Ruby - Little Tea Cup (Havoc was seen with one in "The Darkest Day") |
