Hello, I want to play a game. After watching so many episodes of SMF, I have begun to question these so called Legendary Modes. Why are they so draining?(I maintain its because youre slapping a third morph on top of these ordinary humans and naturally that burdens the morphing grid even more, but I digress)
The rangers seem to have a penchant for assuming certain modes over others(SPD I look at you), but why? I would like to examine the upsides(and downsides if you so desire) to one form over another. Ill start but by no means is Samurai off limits for any other discussion. When straight up melee sword play is needed, the Samurai forms may be the go to. Simple, minimal side powers involved. |

Eh.. The Whole draining could work if they put more effort into it, but they don't even explain that in SMF. In Gokaiger it was all for the fun of gokai-changing because they wanted to.

I don't have a problem with making a point out of the fact they're never really in their Legendary Modes for long, but it seems ultimately a pointless addition. The reason they're so short is because the fights are only about half of a 20 minute episode. As for upsides, logically Jungle Fury, Samurai, Wild Force, Dairanger and Lost Galaxy would be the choice transformations for short range while Mystic Force and SPD would be best for long range. |
