Ghost Toucon Musashi Damashii unsuccesfully to defeat Igor's Ganma Superior Seiryuto form....
Hmm.....I am crying when Gazai Ganma shooted by Specter Necrom Damashii...... Takeru shortly absorb to Nobunaga Ghost Eyecon when he trying to help Makoto from Aran's influence...... Hmm....finally! Makoto back to normal again with help from Takeru, Kanon, Nobunaga Parka Ghost, Tutankhamun Parka Ghost, and flying Houdini Ghost Eyecon. Hmm....Specter and Ghost team up again against Necrom. Makoto use Edison Ghost Eyecon again when he and Takeru battle against Necrom... Hmm...Gazai Ganma survived and thats unexpected. I think thats really good thing. Next episode Idith has Eyecon Driver G, Katchu Ganma appear, and Edison will talk with Takeru? Last edited by Blade Fang; 02-27-2016 at 08:51 PM.. |

I never thought I'd see the day Specter would use the Edison Damashii again.
To be fair, it was such a blink-and-you'll-miss it moment that it's still kind of a crappy deal. Still, now Makoto has used Edison as many times as Takeru has used Beethoven. That's kinda fucked. For both. Anyway, man. Kiwami brought up in the last episode's discussion that the show wouldn't have the guts to take Gazai Ganma on as a secondary character/house Ganma, because obviously he was going to die in this one. The possibility they would do this never even crossed my mind, because come on, he was totally gonna die this episode. It's kind of an asspull, but I guess we've got surprises all around. We've got ourselves a house Ganma. Of course, whether this is really a good thing in the long term (and if it will stick, I guess) remains to be seen. If he just ends up rounding off the annoying group with Akari and Onari it may get kind of obnoxious, but for now hey yeah Gazai Ganma. It was a fine episode, anyway. The scene after Gazai's sacrifice was pretty nice. Even if his survival afterwards is really pretty asspully. What I find odd is Toucon Robin Hood wasn't used in this episode, and thus, not in this month of episodes. That's odd, considering it was in scans. Toei's site doesn't show him in the preview for next episode either (which I think it would since Toucon Benkei and Toucon Musashi were the cover photos in their episodes), so...that's weird. Episode 22, then, or...? |

Got to admit I was shocked to see Specter Edison again, even if it was for a short while they used it to great effect. I gotta say though, it was cool how Nobunaga, Tutankhamen, and Houdini all helped free Makoto. I just find it hilarious how Tutankhamen just looked cool while Houdini popped open the Ghost Driver and Nobunaga grabbed it with his tassel arm.
Gotta say though, I was honestly expecting them to kill off the Gazai Ganma but am pleasantly surprised they didn't. Now I'll have more of an emotional attachment if this guy ends up dying. But yeah, pretty asspull but then again maybe that says something about Makoto still kicking inside, maybe he was holding back just enough to not heavily injure Takeru. That's my attempt at explaining why Gazai survived. |

You guys keep throwing around "asspull" but I just have to point out the obvious here. OBVIOUSLY he wasn't dead. Need I remind you Ganma have a tendency to explode and their Eyecons shatter when they're defeated? Gazai did neither of those things.

This is true but usually we've seen finishers tear through a Ganma and destroy them. Specter Necrom used a Finisher, so that should have been the end. Unless there needed to be more damage dealt to him first for the finisher to actually work.

Yeah, the asspull isn't that he wasn't dead when he obviously didn't explode, the asspull is that he didn't explode/die instantly. Necrom Specter is Boost/Houdini levels of powerful, if not more so. And Gazai took a Necrom Omega Spark head-on and escaped relatively unscathed? That's kind of an asspull.
Though I'll agree with Enchilada that Makoto may have been resisting when attacking Takeru, so the finisher may not have been at full strength. At this point, it is the best explanation. Last edited by barnstenchfartface; 02-28-2016 at 12:28 AM.. |

Well let's be fair though. We had NEVER seen Necrom Specter's finisher actually pulled off. It was always interrupted before it properly hit. Maybe the form can throw a mean punch punch and take a hit, but it's finishers are trash by comparison.

As stupid as his miraculous revival was (since he didn't seem hurt at all) I love that the Paint Ganma is still alive and seems to live at Takerus place now, you can see him in the next preview! I think that's really neat.
Also, the possessed Specter mini-arc is finally over, and Necrom finally has his base-form back. The fight was good and I like that they didn’t forgot about Necrom's powers, and even after he was hit he still had something in store to beat Ghost & Specter. So it will most likely take either Grateful Soul and/or Deep Specter to beat Necrom. Seems like the story is getting back on track now that we know that (surprise!) Gramps has relations to the royal Ganma family. I was thinking the whole time that he was a part of it, I was kinda right. |

For the most part I thought this episode was really boring and that the painter Ganma was annoying. I do have to admit, though, that I was really surprised by the end reveal; never saw that one coming.
