I was watching some Ultraman Toy reviews, because apparently that's a thing I do now, and after a while of watching weapon reviews, I eventually started watching a play set review. I saw the Ultraman Dyna base launching the little cars and the little planes and I though, whoa, I would have loved that when I was younger. It got me think... what do you do with the toys you collect? Do you just display them? Do you use them as props for cosplay or something? Do you actually play with them? Or do you use them for some miscellaneous thing like stop motion videos or something.
Me? I most collect them because I like having a piece of the character that I like with me. There's also a certain satisfaction to holding a figure of a character you like or an item that they use. |

Display only. I also "play" with them but only in the sense of posing them around and maybe taking a few pictures every now and then.

Most of them go from a shipping box to a plastic tote and then off to climate controlled storage. My place is really, really tiny. Right now only my (admittedly small) 1:1 helmet collection is out on display. I should hopefully be able to put some more stuff out soon, though.

Display Mostly, it's fun to shuffle around how you display them (combined as ultrazord, separate into individual zords) a lot of the gimmicks I "play" with as a fidgeting release (which the kyutama have been immensely helpful for).

Display them. Every once in a while, I'll get them out to transform them. Personally, I prefer the vehicle-formers. It's kind of neat to build a fleet around Battlefleet Megazord every once in a while. Same thing with ToQger...setting the trains out can be kind of fun.
