I'm finally starting to get back to playing Pokemon Omega Ruby. I gotta finish that Delta Episode!

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Directors Cut.
I played the console version when it came out back in the day and wanted to replay it for the last months but never came around to do it, but it popped up on a Steam Sale for 4 bucks last week and since I have a much more powerful PC then I did back then I figured to try out the PC-version instead. It's of course much more fluid and the controls are better, but I remembered the graphics being much better than they actually are. But graphic is a rather unimportant component in gaming for me, the game still plays very well. While my original playthrough was really peaceful, I tried to sneak around and kill as few people as possible, during my early second playthrough I already discovered much more alternate routes to sneak around even better or talk your way out of problems. I especially remember having a hard time with the Police Office, sneaking around and getting spotted all the time, but now I just talked to the warden in the right way and got complete access to everything, that was much easier. And the dialogs are really interesting once you figure out how to properly deal with them. I'm playing on the hardest difficulty this time around, but so far I had no real problems with it, if you sneak around enemies or take them out silently and hack to gain advantages health or damage doesn’t really matter. I like this game a lot more now that I acknowledged how different I can play the game if I try to talk and hack more, while still sneaking around enemies as much as possible. |

I got it for Xmas in 2013 and have yet to play it. I played through the original version twice and had a blast, especially my second time through when I was going for a no kill trophy. Unfortunately, the boss battles were easily the worst aspects of the game and often took the fun out of it. |

But seriously, Library with shotgun and AR and a bit of patience was the easiest time I ever had on it. I haven't touched MCC since that post, though; been focusing on Rogue. Which I just beat last night. For starts, I was surprised by just how short it was. Unquestionably the shortest console release in the Assassin's Creed series. Which is so weird when its explorable world (which I'll be seeing a whole lot of now that it's achievement hunting time) feels as big as Black Flag's. But that last mission... and the ties to Unity... Did not see them coming. Was freaking out while playing it heh.

I haven't really tested out the new features of the Directors Cut like the" Behind the Scenes"-stuff, but I will do that soon. I think the DLC is included in this, I missed out on that so I'll see it for the first time now.
And yeah, the "No Killing"-trophy/achievement is a cool challenge and I would totally do it, sadly there's stuff like enemies dying out of nowhere even if you only send them sleeping, I had that happening now as well and only noticed it after saving, so I won't be able to get it. The boss battles are unfortunate, I would love to have a more strategical way to send them down without killing them, Metal Gear Solid 3-style. |

Had this idea while replaying Saints Row The Third.
Imagine the fun of Saints Row the Third, or IV, with an online mode like GTAV. But one that actually worked and didn't require so much boring grinding. Or sitting around doing nothing waiting for hours for an NPC to call you about a job so you can actually do something. It could be part of IV but have the gameplay of The Third. The remaining people of Earth, inside the Zin Simulation. You create a character, do missions, or just go around doing whatever the hell you wanted. |

I am currently trying to get 100% on the game. It is going to take a while.

Sat down tonight and dedicated a good, solid hour and a half to Killer Instinct. I really think I'm starting to get the hang of it and am really beginning to have fun with the game. I may actually come back to this regularly instead of using it to tide myself over until MKX comes out.

Beat Tomb Raider 2013.
I have to say, as much as I'm usually against the countless and usually needless reboots and remakes, Tomb Raider was one franchise that really could've used some reinvention, and this? This was the way to do it. Combat felt a bit sloppy at times, though, and some weapons were far... far less useful than others (shotgun), and there were a few collectibles that suffered from "Lost Forever" syndrome. But over all, I had a great time playing.
