Looking through eBay has been an experience in remembering some great toys. Especailly from the first few seasons of MMPR. When we had Evil Space Aliens that were Megazord sized so you could have epic fights on your tabletop. When the figures weren't all four inches tall. And when the aux-zords didn't come with cheap McDonald's Happy Meal rejects just so they could jack up the price point. Oh, and when the toys we got were what was shown on screen. That was fun too.
I always feel the need to elaborate when I make a post like this. I do like the newer toys. The Zord Builder system is genuinely alot of fun. And I like I can take the new stuff, play with it, beat it up, and it still looks nice on a shelf. I just miss having enemies the same size to pose beside it. I'd like a Megazord sized Serrator. I've always wanted those larger villains to return, but we really haven't gotten those since season 1 have we?
Hell, we're lucky to get even the main villain as a toy at all anymore. It's a super disappointment, but it has led me to consider tracking down the old figures so at least I have something to mess around with. |

It just makes you wonder what kids do with their action figures when there are no bad guys to fight. I hated mixing and matching different series as a kid , but i wouldn't have much of a choice now if i were a kid.
