Hmm... So Kaiser could be the dump, Iron the hovercraft, Mach the racecar, junk the bulldozer, I'm not sure who would be the submarine, Dig the shovel, Evo the drill, Power the crane, again not sure who would be the mixer, and maybe Air could be the jet? Aside from a missing sub, mixer, and a more accurate jet, that could turn out pretty good. Quote:

I won auctions for my first Mugenbine figures today: Needle Stego, Mach Ptera, and Mugen General 3. Woot!

They're heeere~
They're pretty cool. I made a combination based off of Mugen General 5 replacing Mach Ptera for Dig Kong and Needle Stego for Evo Rhino respectively. I couldn't figure out what to do with most of Needle Stego's Bine parts, but they made a tiny helicopter, so it's okay. I ordered Victory Leon, Iron Beetle, and Heat Tricera, and am hoping to win an auction for Xenonbine. These are just so cool.

As stated in the June purchases topic, this is how I get into Mugenbine
I was wondering if anyone knows where instructions scans are available online, or would be willing to photograph/scan instructions for the following: Xenobine, Junk Stag, Zord Elephant, Mugen General 5 I'm most interested in Mugen General 5 and the combinations of Junk Stag and Iron Beetle (Wikipedia says they have 2?). Everything else I can mostly figure out how to build from their boxes. |

Been having a blast with my Mugenbine lot. Still working on getting my hands on a Heat Tricera and then I think I'll just be content with what I have. I'm not sure if I'll try to finish the Alphabet series, or even the Alphabet series without the Turboroids.
Official combination appreciation time! Mugen General 3 (legs swapped due to broken Build Giraffet Mugenroid) & Mugen Kaiser 4 Mugen General 5 (legs swapped due to broken Build Giraffet Mugenroid) & Mugen Zector Double Mugen General 5 Blade Mode & Twin Attack Mode (legs swapped due to broken Build Giraffet Mugenroid) Mugen General 7 |

Mugen Generals are official combined modes. The instructions are either with the figures involved, or at least it is advertised on the back of the box. For example, Mugen General 3's instructions are on the instruction sheets for Air Leon, Carry Eagle, and Build Giraffet. Mugen Kaiser 4's instructions are with Kaiser Condor. Wikipedia has a listing of various official combos in their Mugenbine article.
You can find the Korean versions of a lot of the Mugen Gattai series on eBay. Trying to purchase them all individually will drive you over your budget fast. Actually auctions show up rarely. Mandarake also rarely lists Mugen Gattai toys. Your best bet is to watch Yahoo Auctions Japan for a large lot. Mine was 18 sets for about $100 ($130-140 after shipping). I saw another one for 16 sets for $200. This can also be scary as you need to use a proxy bidding service and need to know enough Japanese to know what you are looking for and to understand the auction listing. In other news, I have Machine Robo Wedge on the way. It's a guidebook that covers Machine Robo, Rescue, and at least the Mugen Gattai series. |
