This looks like a really classic kaiju design, as in sort of godzilla esq, and I'm always up for monsters who aren't really monsters.

Once again, this is an Ultra Kaiju I really like looking at pictures of. Probably because it's so clearly similar to that certain other giant lizard. :P
Coming with option parts for a severed tail and horn really stands out too. Changes significantly how it looks. Don't know how important it is to the character to be able to recreate those scenes, but they're nice touches. And for somebody so big, at least it means he comes with something.

Figuarts may not always be the best, but at least they try to do the best with what they have to work with. I can't imagine a company doing much better with a chubby T-rex-type kaiju like this. The little touches like the severed tail are what set this figure's quality above others, I think, but that's been noted already in others' posts. Not being too familiar with the source material, I don't have much else to add.

I'm a bit of a sucker for kaiju releases, don't actually own any myself (still a few Monsterarts I'd die to own though), but man are they a treat to look at. While I will always be a Godzilla fanboy at heart, Ultraman has consistently had some of my favorite monster designs and this guy fits right in with them.

Very nice. Never really got into Ultraman, but it looks fun.

I really like this design, and it's absolutely not something you see Figuarts tackle every day, which is cool. Looks really good, even if the articulation isn't as good as it could be.

Been itching to pick this guy up. Looks like a great alternative to the now-OOP Ultra-Act!

My beautiful boy Gomora, admittedly I was kind of hooked on him because of Cyber Gomora from X, but Mega Monster Battle helped me love him and elevate him as one of my favorite Kaiju's, at least recurring ones anyway.
That being said, admittedly I don't think I'd shell out for an SH Figuarts Gomora, I might just get a Vinyl instead to satisfy my Gomora needs. It's a nice looking figure and the battle damage are nice accessories to add to it. |

Den-O we NEED.MORE.KAIJU.MONSTER.Galleries. Love this. Probably the first set of pictures in the gallery that make me feel like people are actually playing with these figures instead of being high end collectibles.
