Oh man, where to start?
Black plastic that came to collectors pre-scratched, so you would have a He-Man arm with black showing on it. Reversed limbs and then them saying "Oops, we goofed." DC figures that had their legs frozen by gummy plastic. Body parts being painted by different shades of the same color. Accessories that were shown with the product and then cut out without being foretold. A free figure delayed for over a year that then became a $30 figure. Subscriptions that were canceled because you chose to do the "Ship All My Figures at the End of the Year" option and then they forgot about you, but refused to refund you the initial subscription fee. Canceling subscriptions because they couldn't charge a credit card you changed four months straight. You paying $35 for overnight shipping by UPS and they ship the item by regular 7-14 day mail. |

I can definitely vouch for the frozen legs. Had it it happen to three DC Universe Classics I used to own, but I had no idea about all that BS. Honestly, compared to that, the belts don't seem like such a big issue. But I still hold a bit of hope that they might get re-re-released next year for the 25th anniversary, with corrected belts. As for not having the weapons, I have to admit that it really doesn't bother me as much as it used to. |

Rather, the question becomes would BoA rather release a proven winner (primary Megazords at the $80-$100 pricepoint) over a more difficult sell. Tor pretty much relies on high sales of the Thunder Megazord...if you don't own TMZ, why would you want Tor? If TMZ sales are down, then Tor becomes very unlikely. Serpentera, however, is different. I could see it being released at the $129 pricepoint and, since it doesn't rely on other toy sales, is viable unto itself (now with Zordbuilder, tho). Owning the original, I don't think I probably have a dog in that particular hunt. But besides the Shogun Megazord, which has all but an official announcement at this point, Serpentera seems like it would be the best option to round out the MMPR Legacy mecha...and then hopefully we move on to Zeo. |

I still can't believe wave 3 isn't out in full yet, but they're already planning a re-release of the MMPR figures. Bandai has no idea what's going on with this line. (I think it says a lot that Bruno of MMPR toys, who's pretty loyal to BOA and covers every single new development of PR, has yet to comment on these Metallic figures) You know what'd be brilliant? Is if these metallic rangers came with the weapons AND a BAF for either the Thunder or Ninja Megazord. But that would involve Bandai not being cheap assholes.
