I am not a fan at all, especially at that price. It feels like you get so little. I mean, this is the same price of a full megazord. Sure, its probably as big, but it lacks the solo playability. I mean between this and the Ptera Charge Megazord, one clearly has much more play value on their own.
I also dont like the look of the toy. That eye-less t-rex without arms looks like a giant alien dong. |

I get the need to modernize designs but the lack of a face bothers me personally and I wish the line had better paint apps. It looks to have a lot of molded detail but its all lost due to the lack of paint.

It's an interesting design, to be sure. I won't get the toy if only because I am hoping for one with better paint apps... this clearly lacking the paint that it deserves and I hope we get a premium gift set at some point.

Wow, that is horrible. I honestly didn't notice until Den pointed it out but this thing totally is just an MMPR version of Grimlock. In fact looking at it now they're all just MMPR versions of the Bayverse Dinobots. Except atleast those toys had more paint, this is just a giant featureless lump of red plastic. Dear Gosei I hope they looked good on screen because this.. this just sucks.

What, you're surprised that they've been ripping off Bayformers NOW?
Sheesh, I thought it was blatantly obvious to anyone who had seen both. |

It doesn't look too horrible. I suppose it's all right. I like.

Design wise it doesn't look that bad, but it's still basically a rehash of past designs from different places.
Like that comparison image that was shown, it's like, scrolling down super fast I already thought that there were already repaints. |

The comparison with the other T-rex toys was spot on lol
The zord looks so uninspired |

I sort of dig the torso mode, though from the looks of things the megazord may have very short arms

I am fine with change, as long as its a good looking design. But I look at this and I wonder "why bother". Why bother going with the T-Rex is it looks so different anyway. Just make new zords or a new design. Since Dinos are earth beings, then why is there an alien interpretation? Just make an alien zord and call is a day.
