Minipla KingExpress
https://www.bandai.co.jp/candy/produ...465423000.html No sign of the Mashin weapons in this set. That’s weird. Last edited by Lee Fitzgerald; 04-01-2020 at 10:17 AM.. |

I want it.
But the quarantine will certainly make that difficult to get

Saw this blog post about adding glitter to the Kiraimeijin minipla to add to some extra sparkly-ness and it looks pretty good!

I kinda want to know the status of the Minipla Kiramaizin. Anyone who has it have any word on the quality of it? Does the clear/translucent parts feel overly soft or fragile? I wanna grab it, but that's what I'm worried about.
I'm not as concerned on Smog Jouki since he looks beefy, thankfully

I think I might be addicted to the Super Minipla line. Also, I tried out creating a 'standing-in-front-of-explosion" type of scene with the Astro Megazord and Sun Vulcan Robo. One of the things that I love about these kits, is how they scale rather nicely with the Transformers Siege and Earthrise lines.

Same, especially since I have to move in August. I don't know where to ship things because we really have no idea when they'll be arriving.

That arm also has a bit of an issue in which the cab and the treads come apart a little too easily. It doesn't lead to full-blown arm-fall-off syndrome, but it's not great. Mashin Helico is the closest to having an issue because the (opaque) joint to turn it into Sky Mage is really tight, so the (clear) arms like to pop off while I'm trying to get that gollygoshdarned joint to move. There's also a dodgy design point: the wheels on Mashin Fire make it difficult to find a stable standing pose even if you've deployed the optional ankle joints. Fortunately, they can be popped off, which looks off from the side but is significantly more functional. The arms have relatively decent articulation, but tend to look super-awkward due to the where the joint cuts are. Those of the gem modes look dodgy. I'm a little sad that they determined so much of the design of this mecha. For the most part, I feel like Kiramazin is fine for what it is, although I doubt I'll be hanging onto this mecha once Kiramager comes to an end. |
