The design looks OK but that won't matter if they don't capture the overall "feel" of Godzilla.
The biggest failure of the American version (other than giving entirely too much screentime to the god-awful human cast) was making the King of the Monsters look small and weak when crawling through the city. Godzilla needs to be a gigantic powerful creature to properly sell the movie. |

Why wouldn't they keep the head looking the same as his body? He has a hippo snout, it would have looked cooler if it was scaly and armored. I'll wait for a better angle to make my final judgement. Except for how cartoon-like his top snout is he looks great.
