While it looks great, and I would love to have one... there is no way I can justify paying eighty bucks for it. I was on the edge when I thought it was seventy bucks. It's just an additional ten bucks... but that's enough to make up my mind. I'll be lucky if I can get Tommy's morpher...
Is this from an objective stance? Or an "I have no money" point of view? You and me both. It is. I still want to find a custom box maker so I can get an upscaled Zyusouken box to display it in when I'm not messing around with it.

100% sold. This is beautiful. From the improved/replica packaging to the execution of the item itself. It's just gorgeous. That's cool they're using 24K plating for the gold pieces which I hope are all die cast. Dagger should have a great size and weight to it. Can't wait. Just hope the electronics turn out as well as everything else has!

It looks pretty nice but I think I'll stick with the one I already own.
If nothing else, it's $80.00 I'll have to spend on something else.

Both Dagger and Zord currently on sale at Toys R Us Canada for $59.97 + free shipping (I assume only within Canada). And if you order today, you can use promo code SHOPNOW10 for another 10% off.

Any canadian brothers want to help me out? I hear the shipping would negate any savings though?

Ummm... no... but why does that matter? Yeah this one is cheaper, but that doesn't make it worth what it costs. I would love to have it, but I can't justify paying more than sixty bucks. It means I won't have a Dragon Dagger, but there are more important things I could put the money towards.

Not sure how much it would cost to ship in the US though and this is assuming they don't tax me for bringing these across the border. |

Thanks to my friend Kim Chi Williams for sending this our way. It would appear that someone at the currently Robot Toy Fest has been able to get their hands on an out of box Legacy Dragon Dagger! It's clear that someone has been allowed to handle the Legacy Dragon Dagger, and these are also some of the best shots of the finalized packaging we've seen so far!
That's me in the picture, I got details if anyone is curious. Also MMPR Toys has a review. Last edited by GibsonKAGE; 12-31-2013 at 12:29 PM.. |
