In terms of discussing shows,I really like the LWW format.3 episodes really seems to be the magic number where you can have just enough to talk about that could be a good portion of the podcast. For shows I'd say every 3-4 weeks since that would give the hosts and listeners enough time to catch up for the next podcast.I'd imagine the podcast would mainly be about the shows themselves,so I think spoilers would be a given.
A big problem is that there's more than the usual Sentai and Rider out right now.You got Super Mega Force,Ginga,Garo, the Amemiya/Inoue collab coming up and we don't know if/when Akibaranger may or may not come back.It also depends on what the hosts watch because not every host is gonna be watching everyone of these shows.but they unanimously have to be watching and be caught up on the same show/s. |

Does anyone here work in the toku industry to any extent? I say this, because the only Podcast I listen to religiously is the Post-Movie Podcast, largely because the two presenters and their guests have all worked on movies, or have been reviewing them professionally for most of their lives. This is important because as an avid moviegoer I love seeing the inner workings, but it also provides a deep knowledge of what they are talking about to justify it basically being two old men talking about movies.
I mean no offence to any podcasters out there, but I could care less what Jack and Tom who work in tescos think of the latest movie release (that probably really exists), if I wanted just a random member of the public's opinion I'd just ask my friends.

For me I'd be all over figure reviews as well *coughcouldhelpcough* about speculations on how bandai will handle figures, SICs etc...and even talk about the stuff that is the "lets watch X this week" recaps. That would be easier on spoilers because a lot of that stuff most have watched.

I could bore you for hours with what influences Company A to go ahead and make Figure A over Figure B, and exactly how much power Retailer A and Retailer B have in the whole decision making process.
It's quite boring unless you love hearing about how a toy TRULY goes concept design to retail shelf. NOTE: At all the toy panels over the years, designers always leave out really key reasons WHY they decided to make this toy over that toy. It all starts, believe it or not, on previous data from product testing (with kids) as well as retailer feedback. At least, in the USA side. Bandai Japan, on the other hand, is a different beast entirely.

I voted no, but it should really be undecided. Not every podcast I listen to is because of the subject, it's because of the casters themselves. So I guess my answer is more, "it depends on the on-air personalities".
