I'm stumped by the picture Lee Fitzgerald posted. Just how is Cube Kirin supposed to connect to the legs?

I believe the term is called "zord builder" ports. Or as they're really called pegs and holes.

For those curious, the preorder for the 3rd set for zyuohger has popped up on amiami. Personally I'm going to hold off till we find out whether its zyuoh the world's mech or a reissue of the first set.

...wow, I'm glad you posted that. I picked up the second set sight-unseen (heck, I still haven't seen a single picture), and it never occurred to me that there might be duplicates.

You shouldn't have to worry about the second set (I didn't). From what I've seen the trend often is to have the 3rd set be a reissue of the 1st, but with something more. With Ninninger this was the first three support otomonin, with ToQger it was the support trains. There hasn't been anything like that though for Zyuohger, so it probably won't be a reissue. My current guess is that the second set will have Zyuoh Wild and the mole cube, while the third one could either be Zyouh King with the bear, or Tousai Zyuoh with the bear. Who knows.

I had a moment of sleepy foolishness on Mandarake recently. I ordered what I thought was DaiBouken - I didn't look closely and momentarily forgot that support mecha exist - and ended up with DaiVoyager.
I put it together today, and what raised my eyebrow is that it appears to come with two identical faces. I don't yet read Japanese. Anyone know whether it's intended to be a backup, or if it's intended for some other mecha in the minipla line? (Also, I picked up Go-BusterOh. Buster Ace is fantastic, the supporting mecha are pretty good, and the combination is just as bad as I'd been led to believe.) |

Doesn't look like there'll be as much articulation as the first set.
