Ignoring the fact we do already transforming ThunderZords, the fact that this is targeting a different market people have already expressed interest in, the fact that no-one is going to get two separately known, popular, and differently labelled brands confused, and the fact that this isn't even a hasbro product, of course.

There is still the Legacy set available for people to buy if they want a higher end Thunder Megazord. Fact is a lot of the Legacy Megazords sat on shelves until clearanced out. Heck, you can still readily get a lot of the Legacy 7in figures. PR stuff just doesn't move the way fans seem to think it does.
Wave 1 of the Lighting collection line is still easily gotten at or less than MSRP. Hasbro continuing to make this line is a small miracle. |
