Thanks for this Den-O, I have yet to make the jump to minipla yet especially when I heard some of them very quite simplified. But this one is a cool example of how great they can be. Not a fan of how boxy that lion is though.

Is Liveman unusually popular in Japan, or was this release effectively random? I'm not complaining, because it looks pretty good, I just can't see why they'd choose it right after Zyuoh, especially because it doesn't touch the Western nostalgia at all. Not that that's ever been a reason for a Japanese company to do things, but if there's one thing Bandai loves, it's money.

I generally just quietly observe minipla from a distance because despite being smaller and simpler, I've just never been a model builder. LEGO I can do all day, but there's just something about sprues and runners that intimidates me.
So I love videos and galleries like this one because I still find them super cool, but know I'll probably not get one. And the Super Minipla line kicking things up a notch makes it even more interesting, especially for an old mech like this. So thanks for sharing.
