Always funny to see people that think Tsuburaya can just pull money out of its arse whenever they need it.
Tsuburaya was in severe economic trouble the last few years and had the annoying as hell chaiyo law suits which hit them pretty damn hard. Hell they can't even distribute their own shows in other countries because of it. Season 1 of Ginga saved them. the show was on a shoestring budget but the gimmick of small vinyls (Vinyls have always been a huge part of Ultraman toys) saved the company and allowed them to up the funding for Ginga S which had more costumes, more fights, more cast members and way more special effects. Hell it let them bring back the science patrol and made the show back to the standard Ultra Formula for the most part. Ginga S did well enough so X will probably see another jump in quality. plus who knows if X does really well we might get a full series for the 50th year next year. still plenty of Monsters and Ultras that still don't have spark dolls yet |

That is a interesting name for a Ultraman and I'm really excited to see what they have in store for us.
