I saw it and yeeeeah...it was kind of a let down.
See my problem is that, for arguably the biggest crossover Rider has ever had, our focus is shifted to a select few characters. The fun in doing a big crossover like this is seeing how these characters interact with each other. Yeah, having the, say, Kabuto suit make an appearance again is cool and all, but all he is is a glorified extra. I don't "feel" like Tendou Souji has returned, for all I know, he could be his weird Decade A.R. counterpart or someone else entirely. That's probably the movie's biggest problem, you've got about 30 different Riders all with their own personality traits, but the movie only focuses on like, 7 of them. It's a problem when, in a Rider movie, the Sentai characters get more focus and attention than a majority of the Riders. TBH, the Sentai characters were just unnecessary. I don't know why they bothered retconning Kusaka's death from the original series. It would've worked just fine, and would help the audience understand that, yes, everything from the original Faiz series could have possibly happened, and it leaves a bigger impact on the audience if they DID see Faiz. I guess that's the big issue with the movie as a whole. They throw a bunch of familiar suits (and some faces) in your face, but it just feels like fluff. When watching the movie, yeah, I recognized the suits, but it didn't recognize the characters IN the suit. I never got the feeling of "Yeah, that's Shinji and Kotaro tag-teaming a monster!" or "Tendou and Godai are kicking ass together!"

So I saw the heisei winning version and am confused at the ending. The way I remember it is that for the heisei winning version they have an original track by the KR Girls but instead I got Dragon Road 2014. Anyone know about this?

The Showa victory ending does exist and was going to be included on the dvd. so far, though, the only raw that's been leaked is the theatrical version. |

One thing I noticed that I really liked was when, and I'll put it in spoilers just to be safe, Ichigo mentioned that the Heisei Riders' attachment to the dead was what helped cause the Badan Empire to rise from the underworld. If you notice the Riders he's addressing, they all experienced some kind of loss that they clung to after the fact. OOO with Ankh, Wizard with Koyomi, Shoutarou with Narumi Soukichi, Faiz with Kaixa, Kouta with Yuuya and even though I haven't watched Kiva, I'm sure it applies to him as well.
I thought it was a pretty good detail to throw in there.

That's actually a great point. They really should have given OOO and Kiva some lines there too to drive that fact home. Anyway, Kiva had his father and girlfriend.

Another thing I liked was how the Showas confronting Kouta and the other Heiseis once the war started were the Legendary Seven Riders with Black taking Stronger's spot.Seeing as Stronger, Skyrider and Super-1 were all defeated before the confrontation and ZX's reveal had yet to happen, it made sense for Black to be the next in line to fill the spot.
