Love me some Space Sheriff Gavin. This figure, for some reason, invokes the feelings of old, dollar-store "space hero" figures. The chrome coating is probably what does it, but I think that adds a lot of charm to this guy. Is the chrome hard to photograph properly?

Good to hear this one doesn't have wrist pegs made of paper. Even if the changes are overall minimal, seems worth it being done just for that.
Seeing all of the Metal Heroes together is awesome and my favorite part any time you do a gallery of one. It's not a sub-line I really follow, but I do appreciate the aesthetic and group shots and watching it continue to grow are cool.

That chrome looks extremely nice. The only concern I would have is if the chrome wears off over time.

Bit of a shame they didn't go for a more extensive renewal of the figure along the lines of SS, but it's good to hear it's an improvement, and it does look great. Chrome always looks pretty great.

Seeing the group shots it reminds me that if there is one genre I appreciate the designs of, it's Metal Heroes. They are so different compared to Riders and Sentai I love them. Admittedly they do blend in a bit since they share a lot of similar design aspects but these are designs I can get behind.
Plus Gavan's got a really good silver design that I'm just drawn to instantly, and these sword accessories are really nice. Wouldn't mind owning a Metal Hero Figuart one day. |

I really like this monochrome design. Chrome looks very nice. Love this galley filled with my favorite series, Juspion, Winspector, Gobusters. Nice!

Man I really hope this version's wrist pegs don't break as easily because I like the design but I won't even look at this figure if it's as problematic as the original release was.

I may not have seen more than 10 minutes of any Space Sherrif show but I love that they included so many sword options with this guy! A real display piece from Bandai that hits the nail on the head.
