Count the medals! Fourze' predecessor Kamen Rider OOO returns in this gallery of his TaToBa Combo! Also included in this gallery is the original first run bonus included with TaToBa, Ankh (Unkh). This is an older release that's affordable and if you can get a sample with decent quality control it's a welcome addition to your Figuarts collection! Check out our full 17 image gallery.

So what are some of the issues that plagues TaToBa?

Well, bad paint apps, super loose hips, and nearly impossible to pose clown-feet. If you have it in a static pose it looks fine or if you're using a Tamashii stage it's fine. But even getting the basic poses I needed for these shots was difficult. Most of the various versions of that mold suffer from the loose joints and flopiness. However TaJaDor, PuToTyra, and BuraKaWani seem to be exceptions.

Even though the Ankh is barebones and lacking details, I actually really like it...

Oh yeah. The head, hands and legs have pretty bad paint apps on alot of them. Mine happens to have pretty badly globbed on paint on the hands.

Pity that OOO's Figuarts have these problems. He has a great design and a cool gimmick.
It's also somewhat bad that they don't redo Figuarts to correct issues that they have, at least to my knowledge. |
