for what it is i think it looks great. although it has the same amount as previous figures, it doesnt look as roided as them. the weapons, because of the color plastic, look like they should glow in the dark, but they don't.

The 5" figures continue to be decent looking figures. I've actually never gotten one so I don't know how good the articulation feels, but it looks to be not too bad. The garish colour of the weapons are a little odd, but not too too bad. From what we've seen from this wave, the villain is the main thing that's got me interested as a potential buy.

That doesn't look too bad, especially in terms of being a Roidy MaGoo. The SMF figures looked much weirder bulked up than this guy

I'm not a collector, mainly for many and spouse reasons, so this does not appeal to me in that sense. As a man-child who has a PR target demo kids I think this is a good figure. Show accurate enough for kids to play with and not have to worth about damaging a high quality figure. Though as many others have said...those weapons are awful. Who picked that color?

Almost like this better than the Japanese version.

While I'm not particularly a collector of 5" Power Ranger figures, this is a solid piece. Not to mention you can get the Dino Red Ranger trio together, I love that!

Figure looks great for what it is, but two things:
1. I thought his name was Tyler, not Lucas? They're gonna have to change that... 2. I wish the SMF 5-inch figures could have been the same height as the Dino Charge figures to begin with. Gonna be really disorienting.

Kinda wish they came with their personal weapons. Hopefully they'll release the "Armed On" version in the future

Even with the lime green weapons and BoA's trademark Roid Rage Dino Charge Red is decent.
Why American children see Power Rangers as musclemen I'll never know, but I foresee fun for those same kids with this guy. He almost looks like he's just a grade below the Figuarts version, although that could just me making a rough guesstimate. |

Exactly what I'd expect out of a US figure. Roided out, decently detailed, lacking paint apps, comes with 2 accessories.
Would've been interesting if they had included the combined weapons, or hinged the sword so it could combine. And hey, at least it got a proper hinged shoulder pad instead of it just being painted/molded directly on to the shoulder. |
