So, I ordered SRC Dekaranger Robo eons back and have rarely handled it. Today was the 2nd day I handled it I think. Anways today was more thorough than before.
I think Bandai makes great robot toys, especially when they don't transform! Now hear me out. Since this thing does not transform, Bandai spent all the engineering on the articulation and sculpt. Some of the joints can be hidden, extended, et al. The sense of weight heightens my senses as if I am punching through another dimension, reaching in, and throwing it in ours. It was like nirvana handling and posing this thing. I could not believe what I was handling. Sure I was not too happy with the small size but the materials, the engineering, the sheer parts count for such a figure, it was all impressive to say the least. There is no BoA figure that compares to it, hell this figure has articulation that rivals my SOC GX-45 Shin Mazinger Z which at its time, was a high point in the SOC line(and maybe still is). This figure poses the way I want it too. The heft, the paint job, even the parts to use for SRC GoKaiOh...damn...what an awesome toy. I have the effect parts too which I'm sure will only increase my enjoyment to over 9,000. So, if you haven't figured it out yet, damn I love this line. Super Robot Chogokin for the win. Oh it's expensive, however there is no other line like this. SOC is cool and while I would jump for joy for an SOC Dekaranger Robo, I'm sure it'll be years if it even happens. So next on my buy list are probably the following(just the Sentai related ones, you guys can discuss non-Sentai SRC in the GD):

You are right Shin Densetsu. These figures are amazing. I have all of them. Note that BattleFever Robo from the SOC line looks perfect with them.
I do not really think they are that expensive. They have great paint apps, amazing articulation, and look tons better than any of the combining toys I have seen. |

SRCs in general are a good time. I have two Sentai (Magi and Megazord), Shin Mazinger and Big Volfogg. I do recommend getting a Trident stand for them as well, you will thank me.
