I don't know what I'm more envious of here, the fact you own the Itasha or your beautiful DX collection!

Know what I'm really proud of? I posted on a Akibaranger thread and wasn't negative once! That took alot of effort
Eight pounds though? Dear Lord! That explains alot of the price, doesn't it? Least the hinges are solid. I thought it'd be like that HoS Shockwave with an endless miriad of small breakable hinges. |

Den-O should open a toy museum.

I wonder if anyone has attempted to scale the print on the car for diecast or plastic models.

I don't know about that but the print on the car is damn nice. I mean it is crazy intricately painted. Mine had a defect on the left rear window straight out of box but i haven't heard of any widespread QC problems on this bad boy.

Trust me there are PLENTY of breakable things on this bad boy. Only take the plunge on it if you're in for a frustrating hour long first time transformation. Theres alot that can get in the way of everything else on this thing. And plenty of tiny pieces to watch out for.

Well only the front fenders, feet, and some chest pieces are both diecast and painted. The joints for critical transformation are die-cast but unpainted.

Well the hinges are almost all diescast. So it's all very strong. VERY strong, and very tight. I had some trouble getting some parts to not hit each other during transformation but it is solidly designed. It can stand under it's own weight too, but as Sentai Tamashii pointed out in his gallery and video USE THE STAND. This thing can hold it's self up but I would never rely on that. The figure itself weighs a solid 8 POUNDS.

Exactly, I must have poured over the pictures prior to release at least a dozen times, and even when I knew it was in scale with the Figuarts, I never realize the full size could be THAT big till it was in my hands, this thing is a sight to behold, too bad we don't have a meet up, I would so bring it with me so everyone can see it in person.
