ShockerCon: Thank you! Yes, I've noticed that the crew here is very welcoming and supportive! It sure is a reason to not only enjoy the fandom, but the forum as a collective group! From what I've seen, everyone is pretty intelligent and non-abrasive. It's awesome!
Sentai_Tamashii: I'm glad to see my 4 years of college-level Japanese not only not go to waste, but to help people in the toku community! It wasn't even my major, but I seem to be doing so much with it, lol. But yes, if you have anything, please send it over! I'd be more than happy to take a look at it!

Hey guys,
i just signed up here after lurking and snooping around these boards for a few weeks, it seems like a very nice place and i want to learn more about this hobby so i'll be spending my time reading up and asking questions here & there. My name is Jelle and i'm from Belgium, i always loved Power rangers altho my knowledge is mostly on the american side of things and most definatly the original mighty morphin era since that is the one i really grew up with, but over the years i learned about other series and about the japanese versions and i've tried to get into some of them but the language barrier ain't always easy. anyway these are things i'll discuss in other topics, i'll keep this short and simple, i'm here to stay and with this introduction the ball is rolling so to speak Thank you and you'll seeme pop up in other threads soon enough, byee |

Welcome! I think that due to the language barrier, Power Ranger would allow you to fall into the genre of Tokusatsu easier than the Sentai series. With Power Ranger Samurai and the upcoming Megaforce, there should be plenty to keep you happy here

I've been active for a couple of weeks now but was looking for an introduction thread and somehow missed this until now.
'ello all, I was just on the edge of being too old for MMPR when it first aired, but had a younger neighbor whose parents got him most of the DX Megazord up through Zeo. About a year ago, I decided to take up collecting some of the old figures. Though at the beginning of this year I found out about how amazing Magiking/Titan Megazord was and started picking up misc robots since Zeo that I thought looked cool. At the same time I became enamored with the spiky cluster-wtf of PR Samurai's Gigazord and started collecting that as well (lovingly nicknamed the Gigaderpazord). Which brings me to now. I have a crying wallet from half a year of DX collecting and decided to come here to see other people's collections and [s]justify[/s]show off my own. I just need to get around to taking pictures. All my newer purchases are already on display while my Transformers collection and random anime figures languish in boxes until I get around to buying some good display cases to finish my action figure room. tl;dr I'm primarily a Super Sentai DX robot collector, but I have started watching Gokaiger and intend to follow through to Go-Busters. |

A borki bork bork from Sweden!
I registered here quite a while back but never got around to posting due to various reasons. I recently decided to give it a go due to the negative atmosphere that seems to affect a lot of other fandoms these days. I'm mainly a Kamen Rider nut. I got curious about the franchise back in 09 when Decade was all the rage but the first one I actually watched was Den-O and it's still my favourite show to date. どぞうよろしく!
