After trying and failing to register for Rangerboard and powerrangersonline.com, I finally realized I could make an account to post here; and I'm glad I did, because I desperately need help from some die-hard Power Rangers fans, and I don't know where else to turn.
I think it's safe to say that I'm not alone here when I say I grew up at least partially on Power Rangers. Dino Thunder sucked me in as a kid, but when older seasons started airing after the Neo-Saban Era began, I watched those, too. Unfortunately, I remember absolutely nothing of substance from that experience, and I'd like to do what my kid self never could and actually commit to watching Power Rangers, if only for nostalgia's sake. But, uh...there's hundreds of hours of TV to watch. Call me basic, but I really don't think I can survive that. Thus do I turn to you, who I assume are indefinitely more well-versed in this stuff than I am. Firstly, where's a good place to watch entire seasons of Power Rangers? I think the first few seasons are on Netflix, which I have, but I don't think there's any others there. Second, what episodes (or seasons) can I afford to skip entirely? I've heard truly awful things about the Operation Overdrive and the Neo-Saban series, so I guess I should pass over that; but before then, what's worth getting into? I don't expect a fast response or anything, since this isn't exactly a "yes" or "no" question, but I also know it's not reasonable to ask total strangers to compile a 10-page MLA-format essay, so just give whatever answer you think is really reasonable. |

I can't tell you which episodes to watch, but I can tell you that Netflix has every season of Power Rangers, so you have no worries there.

Well, that's a hard question to answer. If you're looking to get into a good story over a good number of seasons than id say go ahead and start from the begining. Once you finish In Space you can start jumping around a bit more just be mindful if you aren't interested in filler as some kinda spring up on you.

Netflix has every season execpt (I think) the latest one, Super Ninja Steel. Every season after In Space is not connected so you can watch any season you want after that out of order unless you want to watch them chronologically to see the evolution of the series (although the show was 480p and 4:3 until 2010 so there's not much evolution). If you don't want to waste your time, the worst seasons imo are MMPR, Zeo (meh), Turbo (although if you want to get the full experience of In Space watch all the episodes including and after Passing the Torch Part 1), Lightspeed Rescue (this one is a bit too mediocre for my tastes), Wild Force (this one's ok but I can't get into it), Mystic Force, Operation Overdrive, Samurai, Super Samurai, Megaforce, Super Megaforce, and Dino Supercharge. My recommended seasons are In Space, Time Force, Dino Thunder, and Jungle Fury. My personal favorite and must-watch season is RPM. Hope this helps!
