We're now officially in the dead zone, not that one Garlic Jr, between the first half of the first season and the second half of the first season. Even the Rangers need a Summer Vacation, I guess. But that's alright! What we want to know is how do you feel about the season thus far? Is it living up to your expectations? Are you let down it isn't what you thought? What are you looking forward to when the season continues sometime this fall? Tell us and be sure to vote!

I'm really enjoying it. I had kept my expectations low despite knowing Judd Lynn, and Sally Campbell were back on board because of how shows had turned out for the past four seasons. (I did like the second season of Samurai, and the first season of Megaforce for the record).
Dino Charge has a new fresh take to the show that is evident across the board. The acting and ADR is still hit or miss here and there, but the differences to what has happened behind the scenes and what shows up on screen is like night and day in comparison to past seasons and has made this season so enjoyable. You can really see the sense of camaraderie from the cast on screen and the acting just feels more fluid and realistic. The characters have distinct personalities and it's shown well both on the script page and off of it. With the filming incentive that PR has gotten to film in and around New Zealand it's great we're getting to see new locations mixed in with some old show favorites. And for the other three/four locations that are used a lot we're seeing them at different angles at times do it does give a bit of a freshness to the area. The Dino Bite Cafe and Dino Lab sets are so awesome to look at. The small details in both places show just how much hard work, love, and care have gone into building the city of Amber Beach. I am a bit worried how character development and speaking division will go once the other Rangers arrive, but I'm interested to see how their stories come about and how they fit in with the other team members. Fandom wise, I am a bit tired of seeing just how much praise the show is getting. Don't get me wrong, I was over the top excited to watch the first episode online and i may have over sold it just a tad bit, but the "Judd Lynn our savior" comments and gushing about the season is beginning to get to the point where I'm getting a bit tired of seeing it, like how I'm tired of seeing people bash Megaforce/Super Megaforce. And it's kind of the same for the "one of us" and devotion Koda/Yoshi is getting. (Although I will say Return of the Caveman was a GREAT episode for Koda and one of the top favorites of mine for sure). That's not to say people aren't allowed to act that way or it's wrong for them to say what they're saying because you're entitled and allowed to show your love and appreciation however you want. I think it just boils down to how I don't really understand it because I don't act that way; I've never really been one to show how much I love and appreciate something like that. But, more power to you! You have no qualms about showing your love for the show and the actors and the crew members and everything. Hiatuses have always been hard whether or not I liked the seasons because I just like the idea of new episodes and regardless, I get excited for each new one that comes up, but for Dino Charge, I'm truly enjoying the season and cant wait until new episodes are airing again.

The show has been pretty damn good so far. The story has been told nicely so far and does advance (though to what degree is up to you) through the episodes. The characters are fun and while still early, actually developed and not just a cardboard stand-in. The acting is good as well and while some of the voice work is a little on the meh and cheesy side, it is actually bearable. The action is really good too and the show is doing a great job at blending the Kyoryuger footage with American footage.
Overall I'd say it's pretty great so far. Hopefully it can keep the momentum going after the hiatus.

I'm actually really enjoying this show. The characters are great, original footage is always awesome, it just makes it feel better. The acting is pretty good, but of course could use some work in ADR. Now out of all of the current airing Toku I will say that this is the best right now. Every time I see an episode I'm happy and it just fun to watch PR.

A-fucking-mazing. This show is by far superior to the past few seasons. My only problem is the silly names of the zord combinations. That and too much fight dialogue.

Dino Charge is fantastic.
I love how well the cast works & how much they can play off each other. I love that we have an actual diverse cast. I love that our current Blue Ranger's a giant shirtless dork. :P I love how the cast includes two women with extensive knowledge of science and computers. I love how much original footage we have. I love how well they're working in elements from Kyoryuger. I love how the writing walks a fine line between humor and drama. I love that they're not afraid to poke fun at themselves sometimes. but I'm not really fond of Nickelodeon's treatment right now... |

It's not just the best Power Rangers in over half a decade, it's also a very enjoyable series in its own right. Dino Charge is likely make my top 5 PR series if it continues to have this level of quality.

It's no Time Force or RPM, but after the long string of mediocrity that was Samurai and Megaforce Dino Charge is a huge breath of fresh air. I for one am still shocked that, with my low opinion of Kyoryuger, I'm enjoying this series as much as I am.

I've given up on Power Rangers.
Even with Judd Nick's treatment of the series has just driven me away from PR. I doubt there'll be anything regarding iCarly since I believe bridges were burned during the Sam and Cat drama but anything else has to be better than Breadwinners. "shudders" |
