Tokunation continues our month-long Power Rangers Dino Thunder tribute with a gallery of the deluxe Ankylosaurus Zord!
The Ankylozord is one of five auxiliary zords used in Dino Thunder that can be summoned by either the Black Ranger or the Triassic Ranger. This zord can replace the Tricerazord as an arm and allows the Thundersaurus Megazord to perform the Ankylo Double Drill finishing move. The Ankylozord also forms the left arm of the Triceramax Megazord. The deluxe figure is approximately nine inches long and has a spinning shield/tail gimmick that runs on the motor in the Tyrannozord. Check out the 10 image gallery after the jump! I always felt the Ankylozord was undermined by the base Megazord having a drill to start with. And not being a Gurren fan, I really never went drill crazy.

That being said I do like the look of the Ankylozord on its own.

I always liked Ankylo. Especially the Double Drill, it was always my favorite attack. Beautiful Gallery, Con.

I remember they were sold with these odd playset things. Kind of like how the Blast Buggy from Dekaranger/SPD was sold with a playset of static figures. But the odd thing was they did not sell all of the auxiliary zords. One of them was missing as was even excluded from the instructions of the Ultrazord (or whatever it was called). Anyone remember which one that was?

As much as I love the color, Ankydon did it better.
