At the end of day the campaigns are more frustrating than pleasing as for overseas customers it's pretty much the Toku version of the lottery lol

I tend to usually go through HLJ mainly for the private warehouse but maybe if these campaigns continue I'll try a middleman route for campaign items
HLJ usually were good with campaigns like the Ex Aid Eyecon or Proto mighty action x Gashat but with the Kyuranger promos I think something went wrong or changed from the norm as HLJ couldn't run Pegasus as they weren't going to be given enough and CS didn't know till practically last minute as shown through posts here so I'm not sure if terms have changed to make it less "online" Pegasus was apparently conceived as a brick and mortar store promotion only. At least that's what Amazon Japan said in their response. I'll probably go the middleman route again myself. I'm not sure how many more of the DX Voyagers I'll be grabbing and fighting it out just doesn't seem worth it. It's really going to depend on how the campaign plays out, honestly. |

Kyuranger is my first ever foray In to Sentai mecha so I'll keep going with the Voyagers to see the experiment through As for the middlemen route, some people who like me have never strayed outside of HLJ or CS will find the middleman route a little daunting so I'm not sure if it's worth it for something like the Kyutama If the Campaigns are being made more to encourage Brick and Mortars I'm fine with that but I'd like them to at least announce it as such so we are not all emailing stores trying to find out whose doing what each time it comes around I mean this may sound stupid but they must know people outside of Japan go for these things right?

As for announcing the details of the campaigns, I expect that it's probably in one of the advertisements for the darn things somewhere. It might even be direct, in-store promotional materials. I'm sure the intended market gets the details they need. |

I'm sure they know there is a demand for these toys outside of Japan. But these things are not intended for export. From a business standpoint, Bandai's primary responsibility is to their domestic consumers. Foreign sales, I imagine, must be a bit of a mixed blessing and probably accounts for a relatively small percentage of product moved.

In the words of Shou Ronbou... 'Kyulette the Chance'!... Sorry, I just had to work that in and I couldn't figure out any other way.

Mandarake Fukuoka had a Pegasus Kyutama added a few minutes ago at ¥800. As of this post it's still there if anyone is interested.
