I'm guessing photography skills don't often overlap with rare items in the Venn diagram that is Toku collectors.

Eh...it looks cool but I don't see it as something you just have to own.

The buyer who's taking it off my hands is actually the one person in the world who to my knowledge owns the most of these sets. With mine added to his collection he will officially own 4 of them.

It's so sought after just because of it's rarity and limited availability. It's not something I NEED to own. But it was nice sort of renting it for a while. I bought this one to do the full gallery of and then resell. I got it for an insanely low price, less than 1/3 of it's usual going rate.

That is a thing of beauty. I normally prefer black and silver, but that looks so nice. Very good photos.

There's very few holy grails in the Power Rangers toy community.
This one is probably the easiest to obtain (and by easy I mean it won't break the bank and there are plenty out there if you look hard enough). Other than this, the only other item that I believe is in super high demand (and incredibly rare) is a version of Wolf Warrior from Mystic Force, an unproduced sample that had 3 or 4 make it in to collector circulation. On the Super Sentai side, there's plenty of lucky draws (curse you Gao Panda) to keep your wallet hurting forever. Those started as early as Zyuranger and continue to this day.

Looking at these photos I wonder if Bandai of America is crazy enough to make and sell 24k gold-plated King Pyramiders.
Imagine that.

I'm just curious: is the diecast in this release the same as the US Lost Galaxy Megazord or the Japanese GingaiOh?

Same as the standard US Galaxy Megazord. This is that version of the mold, just in gold/black.
