We know there are some of you itching to get your hands on NECA's 18" Gipsy Danger figure. We can't blame you, to cancel the apocalypyse, you need bigger robots! This is NECA's 1st Jaeger so far in their 18" line, with Knifehead to follow next year.
The 18" Gipsy Danger was released recently and thanks to Gamu-toys we have a select batch of in-hand images to show you. For comparison, figures from SH Figuarts and MonsterArts are also shown. Read on to check out images of NECA's long awaited 18" Gipsy Danger!

I love it, but with my Super Sentai, Power Rangers, Transformers, Nintendo and LEGO I just don't have the space to justify something so huge and unrelated in my display room. Hoping for a Monster Arts.

How much does this thing retail for? I want to reasonably lament how I can't afford it

About £70. It's in line with the 1:4 scale figures Neca have been doing for the Avengers, Batman and the Man of Steel. They're fun, but just massively scaled up action figures.

Check out FYE stores if you're looking for it and don't want to buy it online. I saw they had only one for $100.

That's upsetting considering the 7" Gipsy's articulation wasn't that great, this looks mostly like an up-scaled version. It also bothers me they keep doing the swords like that, it's like they're forever stuck in the mid-transformation.

So glad mine is on the way! Just shipped today from TRU.com.
You know what this gallery is missing? One of the best movie themes of the last decade. Quote:
I know that sounds incredibly dumb what I just said, but it is tooled with slightly better elbows, better hips, ratchet shoulders, etc. Little changes. Still lacks bicep swivels, but at least on a scale this big for a price this low I'm not too bugged verses a $20 action figure that can't pull of basic poses. Also yeah, the swords piss me off. Needless to say, I'm super excited for Knifehead. Last edited by SPLIT LIP; 11-27-2013 at 03:44 PM.. |
