I love this addition! I knew his son became the new Segata Sanshiro (or at least, the son of said character), so I was wondering if they were going to bring him into Rider. Sure, he doesn't completely replicate Hongo, but I really love the idea of this.

Super into this idea, he was actually one of my picks for Shin Rider along with Kento Handa. I just didn't think it could happen cuz nepotism.
I suppose it's fine if he's playing a one shot version of Takeshi and receives a meta word of guidance from /our/ Takeshi? Either way, glad he can now strike a pose and say henshin just like his dad at least once. My.only gripe is that he should've had the Sakurajima suit |

I just wish his hair was more poofy and retro styled to echo the 70's. It feels odd that he has a retro wardrobe but modern haircut when hes supposed to be in the 70s.

My problem is he's too lanky. Takeshi was and continues to be a a big, strong man thanks to his judo training.

Kind of makes me wonder who would play a young Ichimonji.

Let's not forget how big of a monumental moment this is. Until this moment, Toei has had a policy of not allowing Rider/Sentai actors families to take on key roles on Rider and Sentai in order to prevent nepotism and show signs of favoritism.
