Everyone should chill and forget about all that pretentious plot and story jazz.
The real highlight of the episode was Gen-chan doing his own episode of project runway. ALL HAIL GEN-CHAN MASTER OF HORRENDOUS FASHION ALL HAIL GEN-CHAN FOR HE CAN DO NO WRONG WITH FASHION ALL HAIL GEN-CHAN HE WILL BE THE ONE TO GUIDE OUR TASTE IN FASHION

Just gonna say what bothers me about this episode, and it’s quite a bit sadly:
- Genius is just another case of "It hits really hard and moves super-fast" and that's boring as hell. Even the ability to cleanse Nebula Gas is nothing new considering Ex-Aid could reprogram genes last season. Another problem I have with it is that the whole "half side, full side"-thing makes no sense. What is that even supposed to mean except just another jingle for cranking the lever? I feel like a form called "Genius" could do so much more. It's "just" another final form that is stronger than anything else and that's disappointing. There is more to see for sure but you usually want to show off what a form can do first time so the toys sell better. - The whole Gentoku fashion show was completely uncalled for. It's not unlike this show or anyhting, but this was way too close to Ghost-levels of dumb humor. I feel like this could’ve been done way better, simply by having Gentoku arrive in a "normal" casual outfit, considering we never saw him wear anything else other than formal suits in the show (I believe so at least, maybe we did see him in rags during the Kamen Rider Rogue-flashbacks, but still) that could've been "shocking" enough. - Grease will die. You know it, I know it. And the moment in this episode where they had the chance to prevent it but didn't just because will ruin it all. - Nebula Gas changing personalities is a terrible plot point. Always has been. It was dumb with Gentoku (we drugged him so much he’s now acting normal again) and it's kinda worse with the Prime Minister of Hokuto. They're repeating the whole resurrecting-the-dead kinda thing that took a whole lot of seriousness out of Ex-Aid. It’s not as bad but still - making Nebula Gas the sole reason for people acting strange and being able to remove it to make them normal again sucks. Gentoku didn't need it, he had enough character building to make a turn believable, and the Prime Minister didn't need it either, she was fine as a minor villain, so I don’t know why they even bother. Maybe Build goes Captain Planet in the end and removes all traces of alien badness around the globe? - Mad Rogue is awful. Utsumi had so much going on for him, now he's just a dumb Joker-wannabe. I feel like they will give him a chance to turn on Evolt soon, but this is another instance where I think they could’ve done better. So yeah, all in all I didn’t really like this episode. It was weird and the longer Build goes on the worse it gets honestly. This show feels like it passed it's zenith around the halfway point and slowly kept going downwards from there. Which wasn’t too bad at first because going down from amazing is still really good, but now the show kinda drags. They need a big couple of last episodes to get the whole experience back on track IMO. That all being said, I love one thing they did here: Katsuragi talking to Sentou in his mind is a great touch, and it should've happened way earlier. Maybe even before their memories were switched so Sentou could've talked to Katsuragi while he had control. It's too bad this only happens now. They could’ve cut some of the weird comedy for this and it would’ve been great IMO. |

I think the Rogue dressing like a nutter thing came from so far out of left field it's funny.
He was the best dressed person on the show, and now he's suddenly mental. I didn't even recognize him at first. ..jeez look at those awful shoes. Look at the look on poor Misoras face,..running away from 'Pinky' hahahahaha |

What fucks me up the most about the outfit is an irl friend of kine kind of looks like Gentoku in Seitou's uniform and is edgy just like Rogue so that image passed on to him

I liked there's no "filler" motw/guest of the week in rider series nowadays, but it's like the endgame is written too early. Almost Every week feel like the ending game is here, but it's not. The series continues to drag out with more toys advertisements. Mad rogue was pointless and a punching bag. I wish they made Utsumi siding with Evolt, so he can double cross him later to get revenge for Nanba because that's what he preach about for the majority of the series. btw, What's the point of rabbitrabbit and tanktank along with base Evolt when they already reached their ultimate forms? Build's toyline and gimmick is kind of weak. I was hoping Build would use different combos from the 60 bottles. 60 bottles easily forgotten even though they tries to make it importance by referring to the pandora box. Now there's probably 10 more lost bottles repaints. |

The same can be said about ExAid. Gemn became a meme like Gentoku. I know it can be pretty popular with fans and the actors are doing a good job portraying those silly antics, but it ruin the plot development. Also, Gemn and kiriya should of stay dead last year too. Rider series is becoming like dragonball with characters revival and villains turning good.
Gentoku went from the group's edgelord to Fashion Show model in like 2 episodes. I'm not mad at it, but Kuroto had way more buildup to his meme status in the latter half.
