So I did some research, in Sentai or rather Japanese Toku, sparks on bodies are commonplace, especially when the person is hit by swords or blasters. However recently, as evidenced by Ryusoulger, these sparks are replaced by CGI sparks, possibly to cut costs When it comes to Power Rangers, the use of sparks are very rare, especially on Saban era and Neo-Saban - Beast Morphers era. Mostly this is due to budget costs I assume. The only exception seem to be Disney era because of the amount of Kalishposions, however Kalishplosions are notorious for having sparks explode on the ground, which caused the criticism of Disney era action scenes that blasters often times hit the ground instead of bodies. Understandably this due to safety I assume, since the actors are wearing spandex and from what I've seen, sparks on bodies usually apply on suits that are thicker aka have armors. This is evidenced by one scene in Dino Thunder, while the Tyrannodrones are sporting the body sparks Just a fun thing I've noticed when it comes to explosions in Toku.

This is even more as Dino Fury will feature a gender swapped Green Ranger, in which they will most likely utilize original footage more than usual. Unless the production quality has significantly risen for Dino Fury, I doubt the fights will be as intense as Ryusoulger's.

Interesting, I'll have to pay more attention to the sparks from now on. I didn't know they were cgi in Ryusoulger

I would suggest not holding out your breath. While Dino Fury will no doubt use Ryusoulger footage, Power Rangers also uses original fight scenes. However ever since the Neo-Saban era production quality has taken a bit of a dip, so the fight scenes are likely won't be as intense as Ryusoulger's.

The obvious chess theme doesn't lend itself easy to "Evil Space Aliens"! Will they replace them outright, have two separate grunt groups (which isn't uncommon) with one being wholly original, OR two separate grunt groups with one being ripped from a completely separate Sentai? |

Been a little curious how they'll explain them, if they decide to use them!

This is the type of Fighting I'm Talking About. Do you think Dino Fury will Cut Out Scenes like this?

I wouldn’t call that particularly brutal. Brutal would be a character breaking a limb or bleeding out. Those are the type of fights they’re likely to cut out. (Along with any where the human actors can clearly be seen)

Ah, so you just want explosive fights. PR has plenty of that in the Disney era (however it may get annoying especially the sound effects).
When it comes to explosive fights Koichi Sakamoto is the master. He directed the action sequence for majority of Power Rangers up until RPM and returned to Japan since (he did return for Super Megaforce finale but we don't talk about that). You can watch Super Sentai Strongest Battle since it's just 4 episodes (or a singular movie) and he directed all four, and it's the epitome of his explosive style of action scenes. There is a reason why fandom calls him the Japanese Michael Bay. Because explosions, and he likes action girls.

I'm new to PR, How much In Suit Footage Do they use? Like say 75%? How much did they use for Dino Charge, or Megaforce?
