I've been a power ranger fan since 1994. It has been a long time and long journey. I'm a Christian and God lead me here to talk about this and to ask this question here. I've been obsessed with this show for decades. It's got me in and out of hard times. I've watched on and off.
Should I still watch at 37 years old or should I give it up. Beast Morphers was okay. I haven't watched Power Rangers consistently since Dino Charge season 1. Should I watch moderately or stop? |

Do whatever you like.
If you still enjoy watching, then why not? if you wanna spend that time on other stuff, sure go ahead. no one, not even God can decide what you should or should do. Only you can do that. |

Age has nothing to do with it. If you're still liking it you're still liking it; if you're not don't feel you have to continue. Your likes are your likes and your dislikes are your dislikes no matter your age

Power Rangers helps me keep my faith as well. It doesn't matter how old you are, if you enjoy watching it and you feel like it's important to you then that's all that matters.

Well things have changed for me with Power Rangers. I watched all 25 series on DVD up to Beast Morphers. I'm not A major fan or anything. Thanks to Shout Factory and Lionsgate both I managed to catch up. With Power Rangers adaptions possibly ending after Dino Fury I'm watching the shows Power Rangers adapted and have locked in up to Magi.

There's nothing wrong with liking a show, movie, video game, etc made for children. I'm almost 30 and I still enjoy a fair share of stuff aim towards a younger audience.
An adult liking something for kids is bad if they are super creepy about it or they have an unhealthy obsession with it. As long you have other adult hobbies and interest in life, it's totally okay liking Power Rangers and other kids stuff. If you are having fun, no one should stop you from what you are doing. Ignore the assholes that make fun of you for liking Power Rangers. People will always make fun of other people liking stuff that they don't like because it makes them feel better.

Age has nothing to do with it honestly. I've watched Power Rangers on DVD since 2013 and what I look for is a strong story. There are times in the whole of the 27 series run it seems like nothing's there. If the story is strong I'll watch start to finish. I also watch to see how well it's adapted and in a few cases they gut it to the core and start from scratch. In Space had done this with Mega Ranger.
Mega Force was the big problem with Power Rangers. Part 1 could have gone a full 40 but due to the 20th they were forced to hybrid with the next one. The back 20 was crammed and very badly executed. |
