So in other words, it's undetermined. But with how well it sold toy-wise, I don't expect Hasbro to toss it away without a care. They'll find ways to capitalize on it somehow, and with how positively it was reviewed, they may as well build off of it anyway. The film itself was pretty isolated to a city and happened fast enough that any other world affairs/side areas never would have had a chance to be covered. So it's rather open for coverage as including it into anything if desired since it never covered the wider aspects of that world or even wider space really. Or it could sit as a standalone never touched again as they do something more original later. But I lean they'll likely go to sequel if only so they can jump to doing an actual Dragon Ranger movie where all the big bucks are anyway. |

Would be more likely a another reboot than a sequel.

As much as we like to think that Hasbro could handle the series better, I do not trust them if they're actually planning on making it animated. |

You can also factor in Hasbro's animation input recently, which has been less than stellar. I already said that I really liked Robots in Disguise, but Cyberverse and Rescue Bots Academy, uh, don't look that great. And their recent "serious" animation has been the Prime Wars shows, which are... yeah.
