Hey all. It looks like the sightings page was removed. I’m in San Francisco for business and was wondering if there is a good local place that sells Sentai and/or Kamen Rider stuff. I’d prefer mecha, minipla or belts/transformation items. I’ve heard good things about Ying’s and will probably go there this afternoon.

Minipla I know they sell at Ninjiya market, but suprisingly there is a lack of toku toy merch (there is a shop selling subbed DVDs though, but those are probably bootlegs since they're so cheap) at the Japanese Market.

I've been living here for ages, and haven't found much. Cards and Comics Central on Geary had what looked like a good number of Japanese imports, but I haven't been there since I started watching toku. I haven't found a single toku candy toy anywhere in the city, minipla or figures. I know someone who picked up a few Gaim and Drive candy-toy figures a few years ago, but I have no idea where in the city he found them. There's a bookstore in the Japantown mall that sells Televi-Kun and some Sentai and Rider photo books on their upper floor. If you manage to find anything, I'd love to hear about it. It's always seemed weird to me that I haven't been able to locate toku merch in the Bay Area.
Also, I never found minipla or other candy toys at Nijiya Market. Maybe I was just there at the wrong times? |

Thanks! I found a few Kyuranger minpla at Nijiya Market. They also had some SG full bottles (mainly Phoenix and Robot) there and a few So-Do Build figures (Night Rogue and Cross-Z). I also went by Ying Hobbies and Toys. Picked up a random Deneb figure and a So-Do Phoenix Robo set. They had Super Minipla GaoGaiGar but I passed since I have little connection to it. They also had Super Minipla Dragon Caesar.
