That almost sounds a little too sad, even for Build. They manage to travel to the parallel world, to find everyone they knew alive and well... even themselves. A parallel Katsuragi, having a much happier life with his father and mother, a parallel Banjou and Kasumi preparing to be married, a Gentoku who didn't spend his life becoming a war-monger, and a still alive Kazumin, whose worst flaw is liking idols too much.
And then you have Sento and Banjou, broken from months of war, everyone they know having changed or forgotten them, able to remembed all the death and destruction, with nowhere to go. No-one to turn to, but each other, as they wonder the Earth, fighting, because even in this new Earth, someone still needs to fight. Not for honour, not for glory, but for Love and Peace. It's kind of a Blade style ending if they do go that way. Sacrifice for the sake of others. But they might work in some kind of twist there or two. Sad endings and happy endings are sometimes both. And that's what they fought for. The safety and happiness of others. That's assuming they go for the "Eyes of Mars" and "Gall Force" type ending where we see parallel versions of characters living happy safe lives, to then the reveal of those that didn't merge, watching over them, and making sure that happiness is never ruined or threatened. Possibly even randomly bumping into them, or getting a cup of coffee at the café, causing a feeling of deja vu in the alternates, but it fades as Sento leaves with tip on the table. The mysterious Kamen Riders of this brave new world. Not of this world but sworn to protect it. Almost makes me want to see a follow up where one of the doppelgangers sees them transform and have the entire story told from their perspective. Could you imagine that kind of bombshell being dropped on a normal person? Especially Sento's garage band alternate version? |

interesting some of the references made to KRider Blade, and the preview for next week showed Rogue with his helmet all smashed apart like Blades was.
So ep47,... That pretty much sums it up. ...I hate watching Misora cry. I know it's just a show and "acting"...but still,..seeing her cry punches me in the feels. |

A world without the Skywall:
Kazumin and the Three Crows remain farmers, living happily unaware of a Mii-tan Beardo singing in the karaoke with his best friend Tarou Sato continuing in a band Takumi and his father working together as scientists Mii-Tan living happily with her father. Its damn bittersweet. |

I will say, if they do bring back Grease and Rogue(if he dies next week) with the whole plan to combine the alternate worlds, at the very least I bought the deaths unlike last year where Poppy and Parad's "death" were covered in a ton of red flags.

And to think I actually hated her character back when the show started.

yup, that conversation she had with "dad" early in the show (I'm sure you know the one I mean, when she realizes he's a bad guy but they dance around the issue and pretend things are ok.)
the conversation with Sento where he's all, "btw I need you to kill me" and now watching Grease die. Emotional Miitan is a gut-punch. |

Ok I am just going to be honest, to all who loved this episode I will just like you to know that I hate you. I tried so hard to care about this episode but I have grown so tired of this show that I couldn't care about Grease, who is one of my favorite characters in this show, dying. No matter how hard I tried, I even liked the touches they did like when robot jelly popped up then they monotone it to show Grease has died. Just in case anyone says it, I have been going into this show with zero expectations for weeks and still come out meh. What annoys me more is that if you showed me this episode a couple months ago I would of been all over this episode praising it, calling the creators fucking bastards for killing Otoya again. I am glad this show is almost over and I am waiting for the clock to tick down to where it will be a time for the new rider.
Sorry but I just needed to get that out of my system. Oh they so will bring them all back. I never liked otoya until the very end of the series and the same with wataru, but I do enjoy Grease. They tease his death way too many time, so it's time for him to go. Also, Misora is pretty good actress. I thought she was another akiho or the girl from kiva that acts very annoying as comedy relief, but she's actually a pretty decent heroine except her Martian goddess persona is dropped off in most important part of the series. You expect her to play a heavier role and I hate that the villain back story is cast over so simply and insignificant. Evolt's human actor felt like he didnt get as big as a role since the voice actor overshadows him ever since his id is expose. Instead, rogue actually get a 360 turn in character development. I wouldn't mind they used the w fusion form that was used in the movie to fight Evolt for a bit as movie promotion since they stall so much of the series for the movie and maybe the ending is change to satisfy zio. |

By the way, isn't Mad Rogue our first Rider Cyborg in like... a long time? Maybe even since Black RX? I know we had some in movies, Rider 3 for example, but in the main shows? Cyborgs are kinda rare these days, huh?

Not even a basic prosthetic type, like Riderman outside of his Decade cameo. Might be something to look into for the 50th. |
