The long-awaited Space Sheriff Gavan finally makes the jump to S.H. Figuarts! Unfortunately he didn't jump far enough- Gavan is a Tamashii Web Exclusive Gavan will come with an alternate head to simulate the look when his eyes are light up, one regular sword and one with translucent blade to simulate the power up.
S.H. Figuarts Gavan is scheduled for release in April 2013 at a cost of 4,200 yen |

It really surprises me that they went ahead and made Gavan an exclusive...

Actually that looks very much like the original Action Works Gavan which is very similar to an SHF. I saw a few days back, on a blog, pictures of a metallic finish Gavan that came with the same Action Works display base. I think this is it. Being rebranded as a Figuart?
I'm not sure, the designs are just very similar. But otherwise I'm deeply confused.

Maybe Type-G will be a Mass Release? I'm very surprised to say the least, as much as I've been wanting one, it's kinda disappointing that it's a TWE, I'd think he'd be just as, if not more popular, due to all of his recent appearances, than other older Heroes such as Ichigo and Akaranger. Definitely gonna get one, though.

This is good news. Hopefully it'll open the door for more Metal Hero SHF's. I want a Jiban to hang out with my G3. ^^
