I mean, the title is pretty self-explanatory, really. What are some of your favourite moments in any of the franchises that you don't feel get enough love? Small little things, big arcs that just get overlooked.

The little bits of seriousness, character development, and depth that MMPR had throughout its three seasons. Yes, they exist, and I feel like people don't talk about them enough nowadays. For example, this scene from Part 2 of "The Green Candle."
Jason: "If I don't get to the candle in time, he'll lose his powers." Zack: "If we don't get to him in time, he'll lose his life." |

I was just thinking about this earlier today, but Hiiro's CPR rhythem game bit in the early part of Ex-aid was really fun.

The mere fact that Seiji Takaiwa portrays almost every Heisei rider and each one feels so different and unique.

Sazer X (Anhk's first major role in toku)
There's a character named Blaird, he was an enemy (Kaijin) turned good guy (Momotaros is also SUPER similar to Blaird, to point of kind of being a rip-off). He's talking to series protagonist Takuto Ando, who has a fiery personality and fighting style, but at this point in the series he has sort of been "reined in" and is feeling lost. Blaird, the "Fire Shogun" has respect for Takuto from the several times they met in battle, and in some way knows Takuto better than his own friends. Anyway, Blaird looks at him and says "Remember the part of yourself that is wild, Takuto!" and it's like this light bulb goes off over Takuto's head. He stops over thinking things and goes into his next fight like he used to when he first became a Henshin-Hero, and he kicks ass. When I first started writing this, it was just about this moment, but really Chousei Kantai Sazer-X overall is an underrated series. |

FangJoker's first appearance deserves special mention. I mean, all the "two minds in one body" moments in W were cool, but making it look like one side of his body was more wild and raging than the other takes some serious suit acting skill.

I forget which episode of Zero-One this was (I think it was Ikazuchi's debut but I'm not sure), but there's a moment where Aruto cracks a joke in a really bleak, depressing scene, and it falls flat even worse than usual. I remember some other people here found it annoying, but I thought it was brilliant because it showed that Aruto was trying to lift people's spirits, and his failure to do so made the defeat even more crushing.

Even though it was slightly an average kind of show, I did really like the unmasking scene in Lupin VS Pat. Just the way the music went and everything really added to the drama.

That one episode from Super-1 where the bad guys are having a masquerade ball for no reason. Super-1 shows up fully transformed, with an invitation, and the entire rogues gallery is like "Wow that’s clever", "So brave, dressing up as our single mortal enemy" or "I wish I came up with that".
And then the entire thing is a ruse with a hilarious twist too. |

Kuuga having a character who's whole arc is about being forced to the frontlines due to the ongoing situation while she struggles to connect with her son and mother due to having to go to work. It's a surprisingly realistic depiction of what happens when there's a major situation affecting people, especially nowadays with healthcare workers
