Seems like Trio Of Deep Sin is (so far) the finale entry into Saber

Edit: Shuhei Naruse is composing the theme song: "Bittersweet" which will be sang by Asuka Kawazu, Takaya Yamaguchi, Syuichiro Naito, and Aoki Ryo. Which are, you know, the main trio and Mei.

Seems like the closest we'll get to a proper Saber Summer Movie finale.

Yeah a timeskip of 8 years makes things pretty definitive. Like, making anything else to predate that will be a ton of hassle to keep the timeline clean. Not that that has stopped Toei in the past before...

I guess they have eight years where they could conceivably just have Touma pick up Rekka again for crossovers like for the next generations movie.

Now I know why I can't seem to bring myself to enjoying Revice, it's because this show was too good on its own. Not that Revice is bad, it's just that this show was so well-made and this whole epilogue is proof.

This feels very end of game-y.

And I'm all for it. Sure, Saber had a rough start and some shortcomings, but it was an overall enjoyable and good show. I hardly recognize some of the characters here!

Having found the song on Youtube, I have to agree. Bittersweet really lives up to its name with the tone and how the song flows.
