I get it that English isn't your first language, but you need to try to go into a little more detail, man. What about the old actors do you like more than the new? Because I think your beef is with the direction the actors are given and not the actors themselves.
If it is their style or whatever, then that falls on production as well, not the actors. Try to explain in detail; I honestly want to know. |

Actors could have the same style and similar characteristics like the old saban seasons.

Yeah, but the times have changed and the rangers must change to reflect that. If Chase took time out of his day to teach hip-hopkido at the restaurant in the museum, it would be super weird.

I don't think more rangers like the originals would be a good idea. Many of them were really rather one note and bland. As much as I love the classics, they're not anything to write home about. Billy was just a nerd. Kim was just a 90's chick. Zach was just a black guy.
They wasn't much real character to them. It says a lot when Trini and Tommy are likely the most varied of the original bunch... Current day rangers have interests and goals. They feel a lot more like people. It's interesting to watch them interact outside the costumes.

But what does that even mean? What characteristics?

So bland and one note then? I think we all had enough of that after the "wondrous" acting of Megaforce. There's nothing wrong with having characters with depth to them. What you want won't fly with most adult fans of PR which make up the bulk of this site. You're living in a pipe dream Sevenlima. |

Megaforce lacked direction, theme, and purpose. Super Megaforce suffered from the same faults. But when you look back on it, what was the theme of MMPR? Sure as hell wasn't dinosaurs.
And honestly, I think the audience as a whole enjoy characters that seem more like people and less like cardboard cutouts. |

I still maintain that the best thing to come out of MF/SMF was Vrak. But sadly not even his glory could save that damned season.

The potential they had with Vrak was great, it's a shame they barely did anything with it.
