Hello, I've made this thread so I and others can ask general questions about toys and other collectible merchandise without having to make a new thread.
My questions are... If I was to buy the silver dino plates would I be able to forgo the TRU exclusive MaXOhJa and get the normal one? What could I use to display said plates? What type of display cases are good for toys? |

Is it possible to remove the colour from the Dino thunder/Abaranger toys?

I believe the Dino Thunder toys are molded in those colors, not painted in them.

I don't understand... If you were hoping to remove the color to begin with I don't see how painting over it would be where you draw the line. If you paint over raw plastic, that can always be removed at a later time should you choose to strip it. If you paint over existing paint (e.g. the metallics on the Abarenoh), that would potentially "ruin" the toy (i.e. if you attempt to strip that you'll most likely strip the original paint you painted over along with it, devaluing the toy should you ever attempt to resell it).

I think I know what you've got in mind. I assume you want to paint the colored plastic (blue, red, yellow) black and leave the metallics in tact, is that correct?
The best way to do this would be to mask the metallic parts and either airbrush or spray paint the unmasked colored plastic. You can use painters tape for masking, but you can also use silly putty (easier to manipulate and contour around edges). An airbrush isn't a sound investment for everyone if they won't put it to good use, but you'll have a lot more control and a lot less mess vs. spray paint. As always, be sure to lay down a coat of primer or white paint as a base, then finish over the black with an acrylic sealer of your choice. |

Hey guys! Just joined this site (I'm an old-timer from TFW2005) and was wondering if the Black Dragonzord will be hard to come by when it's released. I've been out of the loop for a while and am kicking myself for missing out on the original Legacy Dragonzord release.

Since the Abaranger and Shinkenger lines are swappable... Can Tora origami make the Abaranger mecha gimmicks move and can the motors of Killer-oh make the origami gimmicks move?

Hey folks,
First timer! Question. I have a couple of GoBuster toys coming from Korea. Are these and the Japanese versions completely compatible? Thanks! UltraZ |
