Still going through Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix, I've decided to start using guides now. And I'm glad I did, looking at the guide, there's no way I would have figured it out.

I have a feeling they couldn't think of what to do with the end game section of Freedom Planet. They really just seem to throwing a ton of shit on the screen for the sake of it, and the level design is really fucking awkward.
The bosses have also become really annoying, I don't necessarily just mean difficult, rather the requirements aren't handled well. Most of the time they can be off screen making it difficult to judge when and how they'll attack. You'll get warnings for range attacks and some charge attacks, but if say...they have a punch that can travel across the entire screen, you mostly just have to guess. They're difficult for the wrong reasons and it's really coming down to just getting lucky at this point. Unfortunately the wonky physics are really starting to glare at this point too. I really hate to speak badly of this since it otherwise is a great fun game, but I'm starting to think I can't say I enjoy Freedom Planet as a whole. |

Starting Persona Q with the P4 route and I'm liking it so far.
The Etrain Oddessy elements are taking abit getting use too as that's a franchise I don't play on a regular basis. It's definietly challenging, even on the lowest possible setting. Still it's kinda weird that the battle system isn't as fast paced because you expect a certian rythem with Persona game. Having no Social Links is also weird. |

God damn its been so long since I've last played a videogame and progressed in it.
Borderlands 2 Vita I was a fan of the first game. Still haven't completely finished 2 of the post game DLCs for the first, but I picked this up anyways. The game so far feels exactly the same as the first game. I'm playing as Kreig the Pyscho so my action buzzsaw skill has been much more useful then my characrer, Roland's dumbass turret in the original. I hate how the game limits you to pistols and assault rifles the first portion of the game until you get to sanctuary. There didn't seem to be too many technical issues until my game crashed today almost finishing a sidequest. New super Mario Bros 2 Its fine. It's a 2D mario game with the gimmick of collecting coins. On one hand, I like the idea and the implementation of new mechanics to achieve a ton of those coins. On the other hand, it feels like most of the time the game tries to be a straight Mario platformer and doesn't take much advantage of the premise. It doesn't know what it wants to be and comes off as a bland, average Mario platformer. And the last thing a Mario platformer needs to be is average.I heard the DLC specifically fixes this issue with cranking up the difficulty in some packs and crancking up the coin collecting in others but it should have been apart of the core game. Not the levels themselves, but the care given to them. |
